We’ve been very frustrated with West Chester Christian Childcare’s policies around snow closures. This is a daycare, not a school — there is no busing involved, and parents are fully responsible for drop-off and pick-up. Despite that, they frequently choose to close before storms even arrive, and when they do, there are no refunds or credits at all. We absolutely care about the safety of the teachers and staff — that should always come first. But there has to be something concrete to warrant closing. Many of these closures feel premature and based on forecasts rather than actual conditions. This puts a real hardship on working parents. Instead of allowing families to decide for themselves whether they feel safe coming in, the daycare makes a blanket decision for everyone. As a result, we’re forced to scramble for last-minute backup childcare or burn our own vacation/PTO days, all while still paying full tuition. If parents feel unsafe driving, they should absolutely have the option to keep their children home or pick them up early. But when the daycare unilaterally closes prematurely, families are left paying for a service they’re not receiving. Honestly, I find myself asking why we still sent our three children there. The answer is the teachers — they genuinely care and do a great job with the kids. But the administration’s snow closure policy is unfair and unsustainable for working families. Something needs to change, because this can’t keep happening.

Excellent! My daughter started preschool this year and the entire staff at West Chester Christian has been nothing but wonderful. My daughter enjoys going there, learning new things, they have already brought in eye seeing dogs and next week firemen. They are engaging our children, teaching and preparing them for kindergarten. A very nice and friendly environment. Very happy we picked this facility for our daughter!!

Great school! My soon to be 4 year old daughter and 19 month old son are thriving there. School based curriculum and school year learning format. Making it easier for kids to transition to kindergarten. Also, their teachers and staff and been long standing and their dedication and love to their students shows. I wouldn’t look anywhere else.:)

I started taking my son to West Chester Christian at 18 months; so about 6 months now. I absolutely love the atmosphere, the teachers, and the staff at WCC. Everyday I am well informed on the activities he has participated in (art, reading, playtime, singing songs, etc.) and his behavior. I love how comfortable his teachers make him feel which gives me peace of mind knowing he is in a safe, loving and nurturing environment. I am excited for his future with WCC and look forward to seeing him grow and mature there during his preschool years. I highly recommend West Chester Christian!
