Upward For Children And Families

I was initially very interested in this program because the website presents a caring, attentive environment for children with special needs. Unfortunately, my experience did not reflect that level of attentiveness. I submitted an enrollment inquiry through the website and followed up with two phone calls over the span of about a week and a half. Both times I was told the program director was unavailable and would return my call. It has now been about two weeks, and I have still not received a single response. As a parent seeking timely information for my child, communication is extremely important. I understand that preschools can be busy but a lack of follow-up left me feeling disappointed. Thankfully, we were able to secure placement elsewhere, but I hope the program improves its responsiveness for future families.

Cannot recommend Upward enough for infant care. Our baby started in the infant room at 10 weeks old and as first time parents we were nervous to say the least. Their small caregiver:infant ratio (3:8), clean facilities, frequent and informative communication, and overall love for the babies made us so confident dropping off our little guy here every day. He excelled so much in the 4.5 months he was there. We would be keeping him there as long as possible were it not for us moving states. We wish we could take Upward with us! Miss Kayse, Miss Sophia, Miss Chanelle, Miss Charlene, and Miss Letty are truly irreplaceable and I cannot express my gratitude enough for the love and care they provided for our sweet boy. The daycare director, Madeline, is also very friendly, kind, adaptable, and prompt to respond. It was such a pleasure working with her and we never had any issues with billing or enrollment processing. Other perks to note: They are a breastfeeding friendly facility. All communication and photos are shared through their affiliated app. Very competitive tuition rates for childcare in the area. Part-time and full-time care offered. Your child will participate in lots of cute themed crafts each month and you get to take them home as a keepsake!

Our family had such an incredible experience with Upward. Our daughter was in the 1s room. The staff is so kind, patient, creative, and attentive. We’ve been away from Upward for about 6 months and our daughter still talks about the teachers and other kids in her room and asks to go back. We would highly recommend!

My 10 month old daughter has been going to upward since she is 6 months and I have been so grateful and pleased with the experience. They are communicative, engaging, respectful, and really truly love the babies. I feel confident and secure dropping her off every morning. The hours are amazing and they are so accommodating and flexible. I feel so grateful to have found such an amazing place to send my most precious child. My only regret is not starting her here earlier!

I love Upward Daycare. I have had three children spend time in their daycare, and I have been and am truly happy. Each child was welcomed and took care of like family. The Center is clean, neat, and works hard to keep quality standards. Sharon, the director has been a dream working with my schedule. I've even had dedicated teachers teach my son how to throw a ball and even guide with potty training. The staff has been incredible working with our dietary needs. I would write more examples but then I would probably list every staff member working in the daycare and the review would get too long. Get on their waitlist, you would be lucky to get a spot.
