I feel lucky to find this school, my son knows a lot Chinese vocabularies because we don't speak Chinese at all. He can count until 100 in Chinese, he knows colors in Chinese and a lot of things in Chinese. His English also improve, before he speak French. My son is in kindergarten now and his teacher told me that his reading level same as 1st grade kids. I didn't teach him to read English. His math also very good. I miss his handcrafts that he made in this school. Tzu Chi assigned him to do crafts in the school and when he brought at home, i feel so proud, the handcrafts so nice and cute. His interest to science also increase because the school introduced to him. Overall the school have great methods of teaching. My son also likes the food that school prepared which healthy and delicious, although we are not vegetarian. I wish they have Chinese camp in Summer full/half day for big kids, i'm sure a lot of parents will interest to register including me.

Our son has only been going to Tzu-Chi for couple of month, but we can’t rave enough about this school. This is the 3rd school he’s been to, and by far the BEST. When we first started looking for daycare/schools, we were looking for schools with the best facilities and teaching principles. Then we quickly came to realize, for kids this young, what matters the most is not the rigorous curriculum or fancy facilities, it’s the teachers and leadership that makes a school shine. Tzu-chi has some of the most caring and passionate teachers. Instead of a hard copied report card we used to get at his previous school, teachers here spend time to talk to parents about what the child did during the day and things they’ve observed. We’ve got to learn so much more of his school activities than watching an online video monitor in the past. Small class sizes means lots of personal attention for each kids, not once did he come home with a running nose. Their lesson plan includes music, art, language, science, math, all with an emphasis on developing a kid’s sensory and fine motor skills. We’ve toured schools with onsite bowing ally and schools that have kids reading at age of 3, but ask yourself this, does it even matter 3, 5, or 10 years from now? What we love most about Tzu-Chi is not only do they teach academics, they have a wonder humanity program that teach value in our lives. When our 5 year old came home and ask if the food on his dinner plates are healthy or that he wants to save the penny he earned so he can help those in needs, we know we have found THE school for him; these are things that kids can take with them for the rest of their lives. Teaching in bilingual (Chinese and English) and serving fresh healthy lunches are really just icing on the cake. We truly wish we had started him here early or could stay longer, thanks so much for the dedication and commitment of all the teachers, staff and principle had put in for making this school great and a wonderful learning experience our son had.

We love Tzu Chi! We feel so fortunate to find the school by chance. As an American born Vietnamese, I'm not able to expose my kids to all the traditional events I experienced growing up but Tzu Chi does! It's a great bilingual hands on curriculum with a focus on building character. The staff really care for our kids. Home cooked vegetarian food everyday! The kids rave about Sigu's cooking.

We transferred our 3 year old [now 4] to Tzu Chi from an affluent preschool because my in-laws were very persistent on him learning Chinese. Initially I was skeptical and concerned; however, it has been the best thing that has happened to us. The mannerism and respect that my child has been taught in the school has been such an eye opener/irreplaceable. The teachers are very thorough and caring, and overall, I have been extremely pleased. One area of curriculum that I particularly like is that they plan for a lot of interactive activities; the kids get to make pizza at school, they have policemen/firemen come visit them, recycling truck visit, eye check up exam, a lot of culture related activities and events, etc. In essence it's been a great experience for us, and I would highly recommend any parent to consider having their kids attend Tzu Chi.

Teachers are very loving and caring. My kids look forward to seeing their teachers every morning. At 4 year old, my son always advise us to not waste water and electricity, something he had learned in school. He also loves to look at labels and tells us that we need to recycle if he sees the logo. I feel that this school instills a lot of respect and cultivate Eastern values in our children. My son refused to speak Chinese to me but after 2 weeks of being enrolled in this school, he started singing in Chinese. I strongly recommend this school to any parents.
