Tree of Life Preschool Academy has been such a blessing for my family. The teachers are incredibly kind, patient, and truly dedicated to helping every child succeed. You can see how much love and effort they put into their classrooms each day. My child comes home happy, confident, and excited to share what they learned. I’m so grateful for the safe, nurturing, and positive environment they create. I highly recommend this preschool to any parent looking for a place that genuinely puts kids first.
Tree of Life Academy is truly a gem! From the moment you walk through the doors, you feel the warmth, care, and dedication that the teachers and staff pour into every child. The environment is bright, clean, and inviting—perfect for sparking curiosity and creativity. The teachers don’t just “watch” the children; they engage them in meaningful learning experiences every single day. My child has blossomed academically, socially, and emotionally since joining 3 years ago. The curriculum is thoughtfully balanced with hands-on activities, play-based learning, and early academic skills, all while nurturing kindness, respect, and independence. One thing I especially appreciate is the communication. The staff keeps parents informed and involved, and you can tell they genuinely care about each child’s growth and happiness. It feels more like a family than just a school. My little one has grown so much since starting here—not just with learning letters and numbers, but also in confidence, kindness, and making friends. Every day they come home excited to share what they did, and that makes me so happy as a parent. The school is clean, safe, and full of fun activities that keep the kids engaged and curious. I also love how well they communicate with parents, always keeping us updated and involved. We’re so grateful to be part of the Tree of Life family. I couldn’t imagine a better place for my child to start their learning journey! If you’re looking for a preschool where your child will be loved, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential, Tree of Life Academy is the place to be. I couldn’t recommend it more highly!
If I could put 0 stars, I would. Let me start out by saying this facility is misleading, gaslights, and wants easy, Hispanic culture focused children. Which is fine but not clearly stated. I cannot say enough how discriminated against I feel because we are not Hispanic. I have deeply noticed special treatment given to those who are. Since day 1, it was a nightmare. When I did the tour, I clearly informed them of my unique and challenging situations at home, and limited family support. They profusely expressed that they would support me and my son, who is the youngest of 4. They enthusiastically signed us up, and we started the next week. I will keep this factual and to the point, but know this is only the iceberg tip, it goes much deeper. Month 1, HARD pressure to potty train or he would be kicked out in 30 days (then made me sign a contract after enrollment about a "Potty Training Schedule/Deadline), constantly calling me to pick him up early or bring him clothes, telling me he's behind on vocabulary, too hyper, doesn't catch onto the routine fast enough, and should be evaluated for AUTISM, SPEECH, and BEHAVIOUR. HE IS 3 YEARS OLD. Month 2, he's potty trained now, but when I drop him off, I notice Spanish music being played, his teachers are primarily Spanish speaking, and they complain he doesn't understand them and gets frustrated, MAYBE BECAUSE WE SPEAK ENGLISH. I can actually barely understand the teachers, who have very strong accents. So, they would remove him from the room and punish him by isolating him for hours, telling me how to parent at home and that I need to spend more time with him and offering unsolicited "suggestions". I have gotten emails from them almost every single day about something complaining. I have never in my life seen people hate on a child so much, especially as sweet and cute as my child. NEVER did they provide ANY PROOF of their complaints that he was "acting crazy and disrupting the whole class", NOT ONCE have I been given an actual report from people who supposedly came to "Monitor" him, NOT EVER have I seen the alleged video recordings of his behavior. Now, less than 6 months later, after a family member passes, their awareness of my parent's diagnosis and limited prognosis and everything else I have going on, they have involuntarily disenrolled him leaving me without any childcare next week. They did offer a "grace period" but come on, I'm not going to keep bringing my child somewhere that clearly doesn't want him there. Oh, and they also lie about when or who has a fever. They would tell me he had a fever of 105, when I picked him up at 4 o'clock, and he can't come back the next day. Not only was he NOT even warm to the touch, I took his temp 3x that night and again in the morning. ALL BELOW 99. I could have lost my job if they weren't so understanding, unlike this CHILD CARE Facility. I always paid them, and I did not cause any issues for them that I could have. And another lie they'll tell you, DIARRHEA alone is not a valid reason to send a kid him. Especially with how much milk they give those kids. Even after getting a doctor's note that he was not sick, and it was lactose intolerance, they would still make me come get him if he got diarrhea, because they would give him milk even after they were given the doctor's note NOT TO anymore. Not only is this site malicious and dangerous obviously, but they are also biased and negligent. BEWARE going there.
Our son has been attending TOL for 2 and a half years and he has progressed so much! This school provides a great balance of learning and fun for its students. It is a true preschool with the focus being on having the kids be ready for kindergarten and our son is beyond ready as he is already reading, writing and doing basic math. That being said, they also make plenty of time for the kids to have fun and my son rarely wants to leave when I pick him up at the end of the day. The teachers really care about the children and are very communicative with us about his learning, behavior, growth and bright moments. They really have been the highlight of this school since we’ve had our son there. Also, I’ve been there at various times of the day and they are never shy about me seeing my son and that gives me confidence that he is being treated properly. Whenever I’m in the classes, the students are well behaved and either playing or learning as the teacher instructs. Pros - Caring teachers, structured and functional learning plans, great balance of play and learn time, overall sense of interest in the welfare of our child, great holiday programs with the kids dressing up and doing songs often. Cons - Somewhat high turnover - there are only two teachers there from when my son started and although they are great, I feel like some real quality people, including teachers, administrators and helpers, have come and gone as well but this might just be something that all preschools struggle with. Some of the holiday programs were Spanish only which, although it might help our children learn Spanish, might also alienate some non Spanish speakers who’ve come to see the show. Overall - This is a great preschool that has been a blessing to our son and family in general. The higher turnover does slightly hamper the feeling of family that we had during our first year and a half or so but it’s not a strong enough reason to not consider this school for your child. It really is a great school and it definitely prepares your child for their next level. The teachers have been very caring and communicative with us, always taking the extra time to speak to us about how we can help our child and how he’s doing in his class. Out of the different schools we’ve looked at this has been the best and I’m glad we’ve chosen it to bring our son to the next level in his learning and personal growth. Thank you Tree of Life!
My daughter started at this school when she turned one, and she absolutely loves it! She adores Miss Elida, Miss Daisy, and the entire staff, who are incredibly kind and caring. The curriculum is well-structured, and I love how they focus on both learning and play. Safety is a top priority here, and I always feel at ease knowing she is in good hands. The school offers fun, engaging activities that keep the kids happy and learning. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a nurturing and safe environment for their child!
