I have been bringing my children to The Joy of Learning Center in Lanham for nearly three years now, and I couldn’t be happier with the care and attention they’ve received. My daughter started attending when she was just 4 months old, and now at 3 years old, she absolutely loves going to daycare every day. From the very beginning, every single teacher has made her feel welcomed, loved, and special. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about her development and well-being. They’ve always been open and clear in communicating any updates or answering questions I have, which gives me such peace of mind as a parent. One of the things that always stands out to me is how warmly she is greeted each morning—it sets such a positive tone for her day and mine. I now have a 3-month-old son who recently started at the center, and I have no doubt that he is in the best hands. The teachers have taken every precaution to ensure his safety and comfort throughout the day. Their focus on cleanliness, safety, and attentiveness is something I truly appreciate and never take for granted. A special thank you to Ms. Wendy, the assistant director, who has gone above and beyond in every aspect. Whether it’s answering my many questions, guiding me through the enrollment process, or just checking in to see how we’re doing—she has been incredibly supportive and kind. Her dedication and care shine through in everything she does. The Joy of Learning Center has truly become an extension of our family, and I’m so grateful to have found a place where both of my children are nurtured, safe, and genuinely happy.

Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Weekly updates of the curriculum make for an easy transition into using some skills at home. Fast and timely updates on the app as well as phone calls when needed. Love the closed class and outside time that is provided . Overall great experience with the Joy of Learning as a first time parent.

Everything about this daycare is awesome! Both the staff and the directors are very professional, hard working, and provide a level of care that is hard to match. I have no complaints. Due to lifestyle changes I've had to leave before and may need to do so again and I am having a very hard time making that transition. The best daycare my kids been in hands down.

Our daughter attended here for a year and a half and only left because we moved away from Maryland. This place exceeded our expectations in just about every way. Incredibly caring staff coupled with effective management and communication. If you live in the area, it's a great pick.

I loveeeee this daycare, being a young first time mom I was extremely nervous about putting my son in daycare but JOLC made me feel comfortable. My son started at 5 months and he is a yr old and I have no regrets. From his teachers Ms Judy and Ms Claudia who are amazing with my son to Ms Wendy in the office who is always there for any issues or concerns I may have, it is quickly resolved with professionalism and grace. I WOULD RECOMMEND JOY OF LEARNING CENTER ALL DAY EVERY DAY.
