3 out of 10, Do not recommend! Let me first say I was always respectful to everyone in this building and professional. I called meetings when I felt like things wasn’t right and very active in the school. My son was in school for months and was sick literally every other week. Literally! My son was hurt and I was not aware of it, until his dad came to pick him. I have been sent pictures of other children on the portal. I would check his chart at the end of the day and notice his chart hasn’t been updated with wet pull ups. His lead teacher creating a play fighting relationship with him because he would cry every morning so for whatever reasons she thought that was a way of connecting with him; my son who is not a child that fights. This is family childcare center and its shows. I really rather not use names because I don’t want to discourage anyone from trying this center out because I HAD high expectations for this center, but I am/ was very disappointed by the lack of care for my son and his health. He was suppose to be working on potty trained and i was told they only potty trained 2 days a week for 2 year olds. Now if that’s the speed you want your child to work with by all means, this is the center for you. Also this center is very expensive, you literally pay for EVERYTHING, including lunch which the website says they provide. My son spent more time at home then at school and I still had to pay, yes that’s my responsibility but can the school get cleaned regularly. A notice/email/ text to make parents aware that a virus going around is all I asked for. The director herself told me she didn’t have to do that. I just wanted to share my personal experience as a mother who really cares about her son. But reviews are important, had I checked them before I enrolled my son, I could have avoided months on fixable issues. I rated the center a 3 because yes it looks nice and they do a good job of getting you in the building, and my son did learn a few things the time he was there. I wish things could have been different. Lastly I called to tell the director my son now had the flu again, she could care less so I took him out that same day. His things was packed at the door, that very same day and she or anyone has contacted to even check up on my son. I hope they get better!
I enroll my daughter when she was 1 year old, Is a very good day care to be , the administration is very good , teachers are always ontop of the school schedules , my family is really happy with our daughter achievements , and a very big thanks to all the teachers , excellent place for children to study , i will also say a very big thank you to mrs marci for bringing the best out of my daughter in speaking , writing and coloring and structure, , I love everything about the management of the school, i will let the whole world know about rising generation early learning center.
My child goes there,so far so good,I love the ambiance and the staff is superb
I loved the building but I hated the way management handled issues and concerns. Like other reviews, I have a strong willed child. He hated to even go into the building. I witnessed he was fine with a few of the teachers. I just never understood why he would resists walking in the front door. I spent time in his classroom every morning. We received threats of termination for behavior issues. I received emails about my lack of parental involvement. I was enraged and consulted a few professionals in child development. They all told me to trust my child. I transferred him to another school. He started running into his new school building every morning. His emotional health improved. He was 2 at the time. So i can't really ask him what happen. I believe Rising Generations is not equip to handle strong willed children. My child is a natural leader. He is kind, quick witted, and high energy. None of those traits are a good combination with Rising Generations. Please consider your's personality before enrolling them at Rising Generations. There are so many other great options in the area.
My daughter went to Rising Generations for the entire pre-k. She learned for much. She was so advanced by the time she got to the private Christian grade school where is now. Our experience with Rising Generations was great. Excellent staff and management are very professional and accommodating. I would choose no other day care for my son who starts there in September at 6 months.
