This Sunday, I visited the faith temple of Christ Church for the very first time. I really like that everyone including the usher made me feel very welcome. The hugs and just a simple smile or hello was great. This was youth Sunday, and I really admired the fact that their young people were very organized, and they seem like they have them growing in their faith the right in the right direction. The only thing that I really didn’t care for too much. The service was actually very long or I should see the sermon, but the speaker spoke very well and very intelligent. If for a young person, I think she did an excellent job. She actually kept your attention, but it was very long. I will have to come back another day or time to hear actually the preacher speak, but I really enjoy my self today. Thank you for having me made many blessings to this church. Continue to grow.
Love my church, growth in God is guaranteed. Apostle and Min. Sheila Walton are truly servants of God and go out of their way to teach us the Word of God and love on us. There are so many Community programs for children and youth. There is a Bread of Life Ministry where food is given out. This church is making a major impact on the community and I’m happy that I am apart of it.
Pastor Walton very kind and great speaker. His congregation is so full of joy. The pantry is great. The food they give out is worth giving away. This church is a very helpful church.
This is a biblically sound church full of people who love God and God's people. They do a lot to help those in need within the community, beyond state lines, and across Seas. Lots of programs for the youth and the young at heart. There is also a location in Gary that carries the same attributes. It's like a big family here. I have also learned so much about God's word in the little time I've been here. I am thankful that I was led here.
I've learned so much over the years that you don't find at many other churches. Not just memorizing the word of God (the Bible) but how to actually apply the word to real life situations and circumstances. It is both exciting and a since of security that brings peace to my life while building my relationship and belief in Christ my Saviour.
