What Parents Say
Tiny Dreams receives mixed reviews with strong polarization. Positive reviews praise the caring, attentive staff and owner Ivie's genuine commitment to children's wellbeing and communication with parents. Negative reviews report serious concerns including inadequate supervision, unsafe facility conditions, harsh discipline practices, staff rudeness, and inability to accommodate children with behavioral or trauma-related needs.
My son was told he had an accident on “purpose”. I was also told by an old employee they scream and yell at kids. I took my son in on Friday and the older teacher literally rolled her eyes when she heard my son crying who has never been away from me before and it’s been an adjustment. Never again will I take my kid here!
This daycare is the absolute best. Couldn’t be happier I found them. My 1 year old has bonded with staff and gets so excited to see them. My 4 year old loves her “school” days and is always excited to tell me the fun things she did. They make them feel loved and wanted. They’ve been through trauma and they are sensitive to their triggers and communicate with me anything they’ve noticed. I highly recommend this daycare for a very loving and inclisive environment.
Today I had set an appointment up to do a walk through with the owner. As my husband and I get there there wasn’t anyone at the front desk watching the door. We rang the bell yet four children ranging from 1 1/2 years old to 6 in the office area LET US ENTER. No adults present. Then a mother took her two children from the entrance and pushed the others back in. Very alarming. A young girl harshly told the other two kids to go back in the room. Then she asked what we wanted. We had a time set to do a walk through today with the owner. The owner’s daughter came through took us back to a room with infants and older kids together. We asked were the kids eat. Answer was on the floor. I said my baby is 11 months old needs to be feed. Well a high chair or bouncer. Where do they sleep? On the floor then she took us in another room with little caught for older kids nothing for babies but the floor. Very alarming. Two adults to who didn’t want to attend to children that was clear. Never would I trust a place were the kids are opening the front door on a busy street area and no supervision. NEVER EVER!!! Shocking.
My foster son was there for 3 months and was kicked out. He has adhd and suffers trauma as most foster kids do. His behavior became increasingly worse but only at the daycare. And the worse was the last two days. The last day I picked him up I heard them yelling at him and they admitted yelling at him before which is a trigger for him. As well as they had isolated him to a table all day. They said they can't keep him because they don't know how to handle his behaviors or figure our what his triggers were. Multiple times I shared the tricks he was learning from therapy to try and help get behaviors under control. His bio mom took him there for a normal time. And was treated rudely and even had the lady roll her eyes at her. They have no problem sharing stories about other "bad kids". The facility smells from multiple pets kept there.
I love this daycare. My daughter has known Ivie (the owner) her whole life. They are quick to get u answers you need and so a wonderful job of taking care of my child while I'm at work. I have no worries with or fears leaving my child in her hands. They have a wonderful staff as well.
