I can’t say enough wonderful things about A Place to Grow! Yolanda and Susanna have poured their hearts into creating a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment for every child. Having both worked at the center before taking ownership, they’ve carried forward over a decade of trusted childcare while adding their own dedication and vision. What stands out most is how reliable and genuinely caring they are. Families can feel confident knowing that the staff is not only state licensed, CPR/first aid certified, and background-checked, but also committed to continuing education with professional development each year. This level of dedication shines through in the way they interact with the children and partner with families. They truly focus on early childhood development, offering an engaging preschool program for ages three to five, as well as after-school care with convenient school pick-ups. The kids love the activities, and parents appreciate the thoughtful touches like morning and afternoon snacks. A Place to Grow is more than just a daycare—it’s a caring community that treats every child’s well-being as their top priority. I am so grateful to have found such a reliable, loving, and professional center to work with!
This has been my Place to Grow for 2.5 years. I love every child that comes in. The children love coming to learn socially, emotionally, and physically. Owners Yolanda and Susana contribute in all areas to make experiences happen. They create age appropriate field trips during the summer. In the school year, preschool and pre-k are busy with hands on activities.
We love A Place To Grow Daycare. We have been here for years. The current owners are lovely and take great care of the kids. They plan lots of activities and incorporate learning. The communication with all the staff is fantastic. We know that our kids are safe, cared for, and enjoy their time there.
My daughter has absolutely flourished since starting daycare here. The staff is amazing—so caring, attentive, and always communicating with me. I love the app that provides updates throughout the day; it gives me so much peace of mind knowing how my little one is doing. We couldn’t be happier with this daycare!
Let me give you a little context first: After our previous daycare closed in December, my husband and I were looking for a place to take our two-year-old son. We visited several daycares, but none of them convinced us. We made the mistake of enrolling him in a daycare where the staff yelled at him and he spent most of the day in the infant section. We continued searching for a place that would meet our son's needs, and that's how we found this wonderful daycare called "A Place to Grow." We spoke with the owner (Yolanda), who was very kind and understanding of our situation. We enrolled our son as soon as we could. He has loved being there since day one. A couple of things I like about this place are that some of the staff members speak Spanish, so my son can practice the language with them. I loved that they sent us many pictures of his first day of school, as I'm a very anxious mother. I also like that they have many activities for the children.
