Our son has been here for almost 2 years now and we are extremely happy with his progress and care. All of his teachers and the care givers there have always made us feel welcome and our son feels safe and confident there. We will always love our Sunshine House family!
I have heard good things about Sunshine House but the communication is lacking. It was a struggle to get on the waitlist in the first place early this year, and then I called again to ask about the waitlist now that my daughter has turned 1 and they said they'd follow up but they never got back to me. I tried to use the portal too and heard nothing back. I understand the waitlist is lengthy but some communication or following up when they said they would, would go a long way, especially since I paid to be on the waitlist.
We have been waiting over a year to get into The Sunshine House Cartersville. Even though we didn't have the greatest experience at our last daycare, we remained patient while a new classroom was getting established. We finally got the call and started in February. During this process, Brittany and Stephanie have been patient with us and have worked so hard to get the new room up and running. We are so grateful to them and are happy to call Sunshine House are new school!
This review is because I have paid for my daughter to be on the wait list since I was pregnant. She is now 9 months old. We have supposedly been number 3 on the wait list since she was put on. We have not heard a single word from the daycare. I had to initiate contact every time to hear the same thing. Pretty infuriating to pay to be on a list and then never be contacted. Edited, Stephanie reached out based on my previous review. She made me aware of how things are like on their end, I was not told how extensive the wait list was when we paid to be on it. I do appreciate the call to try to make things right however they can. Edited again. Lack of communication with paying families. If I pay to be put on a waitlist which has been since March of 2024 I expect SOME form of communication. The least a daycare facility can do is call to update. Still upset I paid money for what feels like I have been scammed.
I could not be happier with my experience with the Sunshine House in Cartersville. I know my baby is loved, well taken care of, and learning so much! I appreciate the regular updates throughout the day and pictures of my happy girl.
