We toured multiple daycares in the area and ultimately chose The Nest for the small class sizes, curriculum, meal plan and offerings (working with our boy from 6 mos of age with baby led weaning), and no screens (almost a Montessori style learn and play). And oh, the playground is AMAZING! During our time here (from the time he was 6 mos old to now, just turned 2), the staff have been incredible and work with us to help him meet developmental milestones and curb behaviors we don't like (such as biting or hitting). Both our son and us look forward to our continued experience here at The Nest.
We recently started at this daycare and I could not be happier with our experience so far. From day one, every staff member has been incredibly welcoming and kind, which made the transition so much easier for both my son and our family. They are patient, understanding, and truly great with him, even on the days when he is not feeling very cooperative. I absolutely love the activities they do with the kids. It is clear that a lot of thought and care goes into making learning fun and engaging. In such a short amount of time, I have already noticed how much my son has learned. He is recognizing letters, spelling his name, and showing so much excitement about learning new things. It is obvious that the staff genuinely care about the children and their development. I feel confident knowing my son is in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment, and I am so grateful we found this daycare.
We chose the Nest based on the welcoming clean environment and all the perks included in the tuition (diapers, wipes, formula, meals, etc etc). Our son has been attending since he was 3 months old and we have so many positive things to say. The director, Sara, and the baby room teachers/helpers (Heidi, Amarah, Miranda, Tabi, and Sam) are amazing with kids and our son is obsessed with them. We appreciate that we are always kept informed via the procare app and look forward to the daily pictures that are sent. It is clear by the giant cheesy smile in all the pictures that our son has so much fun during his time spent at the Nest. We love the curriculum based learning and the exposure our son is getting socially/academically. We would highly recommend to a friend!
We’ve been at The Nest since my son started daycare at 4 months old in 2024. The transition back to work is already hard on a mama but the team at the Nest made it as smooth as possible. I have always felt a strong partnership with the team on his care and love how happy my son is to see his friends and teachers every morning. I love getting updates on his day and watching how he has flourished into a fun, smart and confident kiddo! Cannot recommend the Nest enough for anyone looking for their little ones.
My two kids attend the nest Westerville Dempsey! They have flourished so much since attending there. My two year old who was barely talking and afraid of everyone when he started there last may. He is speaking more and not scared that people are near him! My daughter is just a social butterfly which is all thanks to Ms. Heidi and Mrs. Miranda!
