Grace Early Childhood Center

My son has been going here since October 2020 and there are many things they do well. From the first, they handled the COVID pandemic exceptionally well. But with the day to day, they care for and love children as if your children are their own. I know that my son is being cared for to the uttermost when he’s here. Our daughter is on the waiting list and we’re chomping at the bit to get her here. We love this place and recommend it to anyone! Plus the cost is very affordable considering it’s childcare.

The only good thing about the school is they have a good pattern of teaching the required academic part to the children but when it comes to emphatically dealing with the kids some teachers really fail. My child was in Mrs. Anderson's class of Pre-k and she had no ability or skill to deal with a wiggly child. She expected all children to be highly disciplined but failed to understand that at 4 years of age it might not be same for all children. My child had ADHD traits but at that age Pediatricians do not prescribe any medication and only suggest a tactful approach to deal with such kids. Mrs. Anderson was not compassionate about it and always complained the Director about my 4 year old. She made me undertake evaluations for my child by different specializing organizations including the Worthington School District Psychological dept. My child's scores and interviews came out to be ok for that age group but she wasn't willing to accept it. The director did understand that some kids at that age are difficult to tackle but she was pressurized by Mrs. Anderson to talk with me every time. Mrs. Anderson lacked the required pre-school teaching skills but was more into blaming the 4 year old to actually cover-up her lacking. I had a very disappointing experience at this school with the teacher.
