Customer service front desk- lady that sits at the first computer didn’t want to assist me with my payment/ membership she stated she wasn’t able to see any of my information (which was a lie) gave off lazy vibes! Won’t be attending this location for the future.
I always enjoy my time at the McCrorey Y. Many of the instructors and students greet you and introduce themselves at some point during the class. I don’t get this at any other Y in Charlotte. The facilities are nice, but not as large as many other local locations. Overall, I usually have a great time at this Y.
I was visiting Charlotte and stopped by McCrorey to get a workout in. As a visitor, I was quite disappointed with the lack of quality of maintained equipment - there were no curl bars and everything was old. Also, the music was rap with curse words bleeped out (which I'm thankful for), but that really was not a great environment to work out in. If you live in the area, I did find it cool that there's a health clinic and teen tech center inside.
