The Learning Center @ St. John

Our son attended The Learning Center (TLC) from the infant room all the way through the toddler room, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From day one, the school has provided a warm and loving environment that has felt like an extension of our family. The small classroom sizes and personalized care and attention made it clear that each child is truly valued and nurtured. Ms. Terri, the school administrator, is an absolute rockstar—her dedication to the children and the families shines through in every aspect of the center. We are especially grateful for the amazing teachers and caregivers in the Owl, Frog, Caterpillar, and Butterfly classrooms, who went above and beyond to ensure our son was thriving and happy every day. The activities and seasonal events at TLC are thoughtfully planned and always engaging, creating a fun and enriching environment for the kids. The sense of community among the parents is another standout feature; it’s evident that TLC fosters strong connections, not just between the staff and children but among the families as well. One of our favorite aspects of TLC is their incredible outdoor play and nature area, where the children can explore, play, and connect with the natural world—a rare and invaluable feature for a daycare. We wholeheartedly recommend TLC to any family looking for a daycare that combines professional excellence with a genuinely caring atmosphere. Our son flourished during his time there, and we will always be grateful for the strong foundation they helped build in his early years. This is a magnificent center. The staff is dedicated to providing an enriching and engaging environment. They go above and beyond to provide experiences for parent/family involvement. Every time I visit with Bess the Book Bus it is evident that the children are happy as are the parents and caregivers I encounter.

The staff of The Learning Center are dedicated professionals who have the best interests of the children guiding them as they make decisions. With the nature based approach, the students have wonderful learning experiences there.

I really can't put into words how wonderful everyone at this daycare is. Worth every cent. The staff and facility are just outstanding. We can't be more grateful to have found them. Ms. Terri, Ms. Becky, Ms. Yanet, Ms. Yusi if I name everyone I'll loose track of what I want to say. The whole staff at TLC- thank you for your kindness, professionalism and overall dedication to childcare. Although this is not a special needs daycare, they do care enough to try and meet every childs needs. Our little dude is on the spectrum and has other needs and TLC always aimed to assist and help him succeed. They are very transparent with their policies and procedures. This center is extremely organized and professional. You won't have any unanswered questions here. Security system at the door and through the facility plus progress note app available. I don't know how I ended up finding them but I'll be eternally grateful and will always recommend this daycare to anyone who believes that adequate care comes with a high standard and TLC offers that and more. Thank you once again! Really appreciate all you've done for us.

Such a gem. This is not a day care; it is a center focused entirely on developing children from infancy thru pre-K with devoted educators. Love the Nature-based holistic approach. Such a blessing for children and families.
