My daughter has been attending Kiddie Kollege since she was 6 weeks old. When I was pregnant nearly 3 years ago they were the most welcoming during my daycare tour. Angie is the absolute best (we miss her so much) Her teachers in the 2yr old room have been a godsend and even helped with potty training and now we have a pro on our hands! Our little one comes home happy every day and always having learned something new. Definitely recommend this daycare over any other in South Tampa ❤️

We’ve had both of our young kids there for about 5 months. We have had nothing but positive experiences with the day care. They helped us through potty training our 2 year old and they are really the reason he is complete out of diapers in a week. He also comes home almost every week singing a new song or knowing new words that is a direct result of their curriculum. He is also a huge foodie and wants to go to school every day to eat breakfast because he loves what they serve. Our youngest is an infant, he had an ear infection the other week and cut his ear while scratching at it. The teacher immediately contacted and and followed up with me at night to make sure everything was okay. He is also a fairly active baby, they constantly have him in a safe place where he can scoot around and sit up. He’s never in a swing or just laying for very long. He also has to be on a special formal where the milk proteins are broken down already. They did some research and were able to provide this for him which was a huge break on our budget. The teachers care immensely for the kids and babies they are watching. The director Shellie is the same way. She is always actively involved with the kids. And any time you ask her for anything she follows up and competes it in a timely manor. Any time I have had any concerns they have always been addressed. We have never had any kind of issue despite other reviews that are listed here.

I wouldn’t even give them one star it’s just I had to do something to rate! I spent the whole tuition and out of the three days he actually went two of those days my mother had to pick him up. I’m a nurse at Tgh and was not able to just leave at a drop of a hat to pick him up. They have no patience or proper training in order to help a three-year-old get comfortable in a new environment. If your child misbehaves and does not listen to what they’re saying at the time, they will call you and you will have to pick your kid up. They only gave him three days and then kicked him out! Horrible facility and I would not recommend it to anybody and now my son even acts different. I don’t know what went on there, but I think that their communication skills is below level and they need somebody to start investigating their facility. I feel if you use anger with the child aka (3 year old) they are going to mirror your aggression, but if you show a child kindness, and you correct them in a kindly manner, and explain to them, why it’s incorrect I feel the results will positively affect the child, and would result in a positive outcome. It is sad because I feel my child was scared and alone in an unfamiliar environment with mean aggressive facility workers with no training on child developmental skills, and do not know how to de-escalate a situation. Today, I received a phone call while at work concerning my son; stating, “he was sitting next to the fence outside, and refused to move away from the fence, which by the way my child loves to be outside and would never just want to sit in general. That is a huge red flag to me bc he usually can’t sit still and enjoys being outside! The staff could care less to find out what was going on with him. I feel they took advantage of his inability to respond or communicate properly because he’s delayed in his speech, which I explained before starting the daycare to ensure my son would be treated with care and patiences. The facility didn’t even take the time to know him just stereo typically judged my baby, and just decide to kick him out. It’s way too sad and I feel like it really hurt my son.

I want to respond directly to the accusations of the guy who was "cornered" and insulted by the staff?! My dd is 4, she has been there for more than a year. KK came highly recommended by a neighbor who had both her children there for their entire preschool experience (now 6 and 9) The ladies who care for my dd are the very same ladies who cared for her children. Keith, the owner, must have had some serious concerns with this situation for him to have directly confronted the mother. The ladies who work in this center have been there for years and truly love their jobs and the children they work with. My dd is not a walk in the park to deal with but each and every one of the leaders in the center have positive and caring relationships with her. (It costs me a lot of money at Christmas to buy for everyone she loves and speaks of daily!) I am a teacher. I don't take the placement of my children lightly. I could not be happier with my daughter's care and education (both academic and developmental) at Kiddie Kollege. I would make the choice for her to be there over and over again. P.S. If KK was only concerned that they were making money by caring for children, why would management wait nearly 5 years to raise the price of care? I think that shows that he truly cares more about doing right by his families and their children than anything else. You couldn't ask for better.

Great teachers and clean safe playground with no dirt or mulch. VPK classes are available, afterschool care and they have a separate building for babies and toddlers with an indoor and outdoor play area. Both my kids love this daycare.
