Children'S Nest Day School

My daughters attended Children’s Nest Hyde Park collectively for five years. While we’re excited to move on to the next chapter of elementary school, we will greatly miss Children’s Nest and the entire staff. Every one is kind, loving and prepared our girls very well for school. We truly love them all. The facility itself is clean, offers several after school opportunity and has fun activities throughout the year such as a puppet show, magic show, pizza Fridays, water day, etc. If you’re looking for a home away from home for your children, look no further. Honestly, the best!

I'll start by saying I was going through a rough transition looking for a new school for my boys. When I stumbled upon Children's Nest it was honestly the best decision I made for my boys every time we pull into the parking lot my boys get so excited, entering the building They always jump up and down. Patricia and her team are amazing in every way keeping me updated throughout the day as soon as they can. They also cook real food for the kids which is a big thing for me, And they actually teach the kids I honestly could go on and on about how great this school is. My boys are so happy and I am so grateful that I do not have to worry while they're in the staff's care.

We have absolutely loved our experience at Children's Nest! The teachers are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely care about each child’s growth and happiness. My daughter has learned so much, not only academically but also socially and emotionally. They have taught her manners and how to treat others. Every day she comes home happy and full. She loves their cooking! The school is always so clean and organized and inviting. I am so grateful for Mrs. Patricia and the teachers!

My girls attended this school for summer break and let me tell you how happy I am with this school. All the teachers there are awesome, they care about those children like they are their own kids. Patricia is a wonderful person, very helpful. We will miss you guys but we will be there for December break and next summer too. Give them a try, you won't regret it.

We are absolutely thrilled with our experience at Children's Nest! From the moment we walked in, we knew it was the perfect place for our child. The VPK teachers (Mrs. Linda & Mrs. Carmen) are simply amazing—patient, kind, and truly dedicated to fostering each child’s curiosity and confidence. Our child comes home every day excited to share what they’ve learned, whether it’s a new song, a fun art project, or a story from circle time. The balance of play-based learning and early academic foundations is just right, helping kids develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills in a joyful way. The facilities are clean, bright, and filled with engaging activities, and we love the emphasis on outdoor play and creativity. Communication from the school has been excellent, with regular updates and opportunities for parent involvement.
