What Parents Say
The Goddard School Springfield has received overwhelmingly positive reviews, with parents praising the new ownership, improved facility, and dedicated staff. Most reviewers highlight strong curriculum, developmental focus, and caring teachers. One negative review cited high tuition costs and teacher compensation concerns.
We have sent our oldest to the Springfield Goddard School for 2 1/2 years, and our youngest for 1 1/2. We had considered moving our children to another educational daycare facility, but had not done so because of several EXTRODINARY teachers with whom our children bonded, and their affection for our children outweighed our concerns with the school's performance. Then new ownership took over about 6 months ago, and we have been very pleased with the changes and improvements made since then. The new owners are hands-on, welcoming, and their genuine affection and desire to educate and care for children is readily apparent. Since taking over, they have renovated the entire facility, improved the curriculum, instituted an excellent smartphone application to receive pictures, vidoes, and reports throughout the day, and brought back several of our favorite teachers who had left under the previous owner. We feel that the affection and concern our children receive from their caregivers is now matched by the Goddard School as an institution.
Ok this review I just looked at written by Nate. I will say as a grandmother who takes her grandchild to the Goddard School and I'm proud to say so. What Nate has written is 100% not true any of it!! All children at the school from the youngest to the oldest are loved by everyone of the staff. I pop in anytime I want without notice. All of the children are well fed and they learn more each day. Some say the cost is high but it is not a daycare! It is a pre school. That means the teachers teach and the children learn. Anyone who gives the review by person who is trying to slander the school and the people who love the children at the Goddard, need to read between the lines!! This person has a issue and it has nothing to do with the school teachers. It is a personal issue. I'm proud to say my grandson attends Goddard and it's worth every dime I PAY FOR his education
My daughter has been going here for a little while and she has already learned so much. The staff and teachers are the nicest people I have ever delt with. I would never take my child anywhere else. This program is hands down the best in town. If you plan on investing in your children's future this is the best place to start. You will be amazed at what your child learns in just a short while. Give Carey Wesling a call and you will see why they are the best in town.
Save your money. The tuition is ungodly expensive, and all the money goes into corporate’s pocket, not towards your child’s education. They are constantly running out of supplies because they “can’t afford” more soap, paper towels and art supplies. Even though your child’s tuition is between $700-$900 a month. Teachers with BA in early childhood education are getting paid $9 an hour. Everyone else is getting paid $8 an hour. No benefits, no sick days. Teachers are asked to provide some of their own supplies. They lie about curriculum and education, and even lie about the lunch menu. It’s barely a “school.” You’re better off going a daycare and saving hundreds of dollars. The management is hateful, fake and immature.
Excellent curriculum that's developmentally appropriate and looks at the whole child's development! I love their health and safety procedures and the warm nurturing environment. The new owners, Carey and Ann, truly love and care for every child that walks through the door. I am very impressed with the positive changes and look forward to what lies ahead!
