Our child has been at The Goodard School of Shawnee for 4.5 years, and it has consistently been a positive experience. The directors are friendly, approachable, and genuinely care about the children. They respond to questions/concerns thoughtfully and professionally. We have also appreciated the owner is onsite and actively involved at the school. Having previously experienced a childcare center where the owner is only known through newsletters, we assure this onsite aspect makes a positive difference in the school. The owner knows every family and takes pride in maintaining high standards. We are incredibly grateful to have had such a warm environment for our child to grow academically and socially. We are so impressed with The Goddard School of Shawnee! We have a 2.5 year-old who has only ever attended Goddard. We are so impressed with the level of communication, guidance and friendliness of the staff. We truly couldn’t do it without these teachers. Our son is in his fifth classroom and we keep saying that the next teachers can’t possibly be as good, yet each time they are. We get many compliments on our son’s development and capabilities and we have to give credit to these phenomenal teachers. From the beginning when he was an infant, the teachers helped us out in huge ways. They were the ones to help us get our son on a sleep schedule, let us know he was ready for solid foods, experience huge milestones like crawling, walking and more. Our second will be joining the infant room soon and we are excited. We feel so lucky to have a school for our children where we totally trust the teachers and directors. Every employee knows our son’s name and I’m sure it will be the same for our daughter. We absolutely love Goddard. All four of my kids have attended Goddard - Shawnee, and they truly feel like an extension of our family when raising our kids. Our older two daughters that are Goddard graduates were well prepared for Elementary school, and even the teachers at their school said they can tell a difference in the kids who come from Goddard vs. another daycare. As for our younger two who are still at Goddard, we know they are well cared for and nurtured all day long. The teachers are patient and engage the kids in such fun and creative ways. Goddard is the absolute best, and we had been through a couple other facilities before we found this gem.
We have been at The Goddard School for over 2 years and couldn't speak more highly of the school. From the leadership team to the classroom staff, we have experienced nothing but exceptional care, integrity, specialized knowledge, and kindness. The facility is clean and beautifully cared for, we never have a doubt for our child's safety and care, and it's a wonderful community to be a part of.
