We couldn’t be more happier with our experience at The Early Years. We have felt nothing but welcomed and supported since arriving. The staff has been nothing but attentive and nurturing to our children. Their communication is great! We get regular updates and photos through out the day, which gives us peace of mind. We are so happy we found The Early Years for our children to attend. We highly recommend The Early Years to anyone who is looking for not only a fun environment, but supportive and nurturing as well!
It is such a relief to have a safe and fun place for our children to go during the day. They have a great curriculum and our kids are always learning something new. We love The Early Years!
My daughter has been attending The Early Years since she was almost one and we love it. More importantly, my daughter loves it! The communication is great and the teachers are fantastic. The teachers are so great with the children. They keep the classrooms clean and tidy. They are always welcoming and encouraging. We receive learning curriculums and weekly reports, as well as daily pictures and updates. My daughter can't wait to tell me about the things they learn each day.
If you are looking for a place for your child/children to be neglected, this is the place for you. After countless issues with the teachers, directors and most of all the owners of The Early Years, Inc. we have removed our children from this place. I cannot even call it a daycare after the amount of negligence they displayed over the time my children were there. Things started out "okay" with the typical daycare issues but it just continued to get worse and worse. We caught an infant "teacher" laying babies down flat on the floor and forcing the babies to hold their own bottles to feed themselves. My child was one of them, at only 6 months old. I addressed this with the teachers, directors and I called DCFS and reported the incident. They were cited for a violation as per DCFS guidelines, babies are to be held while being fed a bottle. All the teachers had to "sign a waiver" stating they'd hold the babies to feed them.. No accountability for the "teacher" who started this, no communication on how sorry they were this happened nor was it confirmed that all the other parents were made aware that this happened. Most recently my child's diaper went over 6 hours without getting their diaper changed. When we questioned them about it, the director checked back on the cameras and told us that the teachers "missed" changing my child's diaper, not once, not twice, but three times. Their claim was that they had a teacher being trained in the room and my child just somehow got missed during every diaper change... There were countless other issues that occurred... The amount of negligence, unprofessionalism, and lack of accountability displayed by the teachers, directors, and owners (Alexis and her husband) is absolutely disgusting. I can only hope that nothing worse happens to any other children at this place. Be warned and be aware as they WILL NOT communicate anything that happens to your children unless you push for answers.
My son has been going to the Early Years daycare for about 3 months now and, although it was an adjustment at first, I'm proud to say he has fully adapted to the new environment and is loving it. The classrooms are diverse and the teachers are very kind. Since enrolling him in the Early years, I've noticed his speech and social skills improve dramatically.
