Tendercare provided excellent care for our son. The staff gets genuinely invested in the kids and provide a good combination of daily activities, plenty of outdoor time, and they pull in outside specialists (music, soccer, etc...) to enrich the experience. They make it easy on the parents too by providing meals & snacks and sending detailed daily updates and plenty of pictures through their app.
I went to this place as a kid and it was terrible. I am now an adult and have realized the poor treatment I received. I was a very picky child so I never liked anything they served at lunch and I was made to sit until everyone left because I couldn’t eat what they had. Basically I starved besides being able to drink the drink or any of the fruit that came with the meals. One day I brought a snack because I was so hungry and I got in trouble for it. I really hope this place has changed. Starvation doesn’t work on severely picky children. It just hurts us. I would not send a child with restrictive eating habits or ARFID here as they clearly do not know how to care for children like that.
Tendercare Learning Center is such an amazing place to not only work, but to bring my son! I couldn't be happier with making the decision to work here, and enroll my son as well. I feel constantly encouraged, appreciated and loved. My son is treated as if he were one of their own kids and that makes me feel so comfortable leaving him here. I highly recommend this establishment to all of my friends and family.
We contacted TLC in February and were assured by the owner via email that we had a spot saved, no deposit or paperwork required to reserve it. Two weeks before we were supposed to start in July we got a call saying we did not have a spot because there was not any paperwork. The owner apologized but still no spot. Clearly they had my phone number but didn't attempt to call earlier to let me know they were filling up and requirements were changing. Careful, you may want a backup or else you will be out of daycare last minute.
My daughter has been here 5 days per week for almost three years. Great staff. Great program. I have only good things to say. Very good price when compared to other centers.
