Based on our experience, this daycare raised serious concerns regarding staff conduct, educational quality, and inclusivity. On multiple occasions, employees were observed raising their voices and screaming at children, which created an environment that felt stressful rather than supportive. There also appeared to be a consistent lack of attentive engagement from staff, with children often left supervised but not meaningfully guided or supported. Additionally, we encountered behavior that felt discriminatory in nature, particularly related to religion and sex. These interactions gave the impression that certain values or identities were treated unfairly or dismissed, which is deeply concerning in a setting responsible for young children’s development and emotional safety. From an educational standpoint, the program did not appear to prioritize learning or developmental growth. Classroom activities lacked structure and educational intent, and there was little evidence of age-appropriate instruction or progress. The focus seemed to be primarily on behavioral control rather than teaching, curiosity, or skill development. Overall, while supervision was present, true growth—academically, socially, and emotionally—was not. Families seeking a nurturing, educational, and inclusive environment may want to carefully consider these factors before enrolling their child. The Teddy Bear Day Care staff are absolutely amazing! Every single person is a delight to see everyday. My son LOVES going and I know he is loved and cared for! The amount of trust I have in this daycare goes beyond that for any daycare in Muncie and in surrounding areas. Anytime there is a concern for my child it is expressed immediately with plentiful resources. They are fantastic with communication. I especially love that they are apart of the headstart program. My son has grown so much being with TBCC. The only regret I have is that I didn't send my first son to TBCC. The reasoning behind that was because I loved the facility of a different daycare more but unfortunately the facility(whom was a level four) failed my child beyond a doubt. The staff and resources is truly what makes a daycare. I'd choose TBCC everyday and I hope that they can grow larger in the future.

I love this daycare! The entire staff is dedicated, attentive, and entirely sweet to the children. They allowed me and my 2 year old son to play and visit to get to know the place before we started. I think it helped with his transition to going to daycare for the first time. It's very family oriented with an emphasis on getting parents involved. A handful of the staff are parents whose children attend this daycare. They also utilize an app that keeps parents connected throughout the day so we can see what our little loves are doing and getting on. They use positive reinforcement, lots of outdoor play, and provide food and diapers for a reliable system that truly takes care of their kids. Though it is an institution, it truly feels like a home environment! I'm eternally grateful for this place and the village of men and women who work hard to provide for families. I couldn't talk it up enough! Thanks guys!

I have trusted this daycare for my son who is less than 6 months, but unfortunately one day his milk was in his container which they used only 5OZ. I called them and they said he has eaten 7 oz twice. That means I don’t know from where they gave many OZs and fed my child. I don’t recommend this place at all for the infants.

I trusted this business with my kids. That is all the review you need. The kids are cared for... If you need childcare... this is the place!
