This is a great day care in Delaware county and has a wonderful staff! I was honored to get to volunteer here and saw the great things they do for the children that attend this day care. Everyone was well trained, kind, patient, and caring for the kids. I am glad that places like United Day Care exist to help kids, families, and just overall the community we live in.
My children and I love this daycare. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. They take their time to get to know my kids and help me with any questions or concerns with my children. Everyone there is so friendly and my kids look forward to coming to their "favorite school ever" as they call it every morning. My son’s teachers have been his biggest advocates in his autism journey. To advocate for a child to his own parent is hard and they handled it with grace and respect more than once. Without United, my son wouldn’t have gotten his diagnosis and ABA services started so fast. They handle challenging behaviors wonderfully and I’m forever grateful we found them!
We are so sad that we’re leaving United Daycare because the quality of care we got for our little one was incredible! In the infant room they didn’t just watch my lo, they really provided an education. In the toddler room the teachers have been so good with working with my kiddo on speech, gross motor skills, and emotions. The front desk ladies and admin are always welcoming and accommodating and it feels great to know that my child is in their hands. Would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!
Would not recommend. My granddaughter has been attending this center until today. Her mom was notified 3 days prior that she could no longer attend. They're not equipped to handle toddler behaviors and they are unwilling to come up with a reasonable solutions. My granddaughter has become attached to her teacher and friends and the director is out of touch with trauma informed care and goes against state guidelines to address supposed behavioral challenges. Extremely disappointing
