What Parents Say
Parents consistently praise Tassajara Learning Center for exceptional staff, warm and nurturing environment, and strong curriculum that prepares children for kindergarten. The facility features beautiful, clean, well-organized classrooms and playgrounds, with directors Lynn and Kristi recognized for excellent hiring and retention of caring, experienced teachers. Multiple parents noted the school stood out among many facilities visited in the area for its security measures, organization, and genuine focus on children's social, emotional, and academic development.
Tassajara Learning Center is an exceptional preschool! I’ve sent all three of my children there and couldn’t be happier with the care, attention, and genuine love they received from the entire staff. The facilities are beautiful, and each classroom is thoughtfully maintained, neat, engaging, and filled with colorful, enriching activities. Most importantly, my children felt safe, happy, and truly nurtured. I’m incredibly grateful for the positive impact this school has had on our family! The dedication and kindness of the staff truly set this school apart.
After touring at least 5–10 preschools in the area, Tassajara Learning Center in Danville truly stood out as the best choice for our family. The drive from Alamo, after seeing so many schools, is worth it. There were many reasons this school rose to the top, but safety was a major one. Unlike several other preschools we visited where the front door opens directly into classrooms, Tassajara has a proper front desk with controlled entry. That added layer of security made a big difference for us and provided real peace of mind. Beyond safety, the environment feels warm, organized, and thoughtfully run. The classrooms are engaging, and it’s clear the teachers genuinely care about children’s social, emotional, and academic development. We’re excited about the opportunity for both of our children to be part of the school community and are especially impressed by their fabulous Transitional Kindergarten program for our 4-year-old. It’s reassuring to know there’s such a strong foundation and next step available. For families touring multiple schools and carefully weighing their options like we did, Tassajara Learning Center is absolutely worth a visit.
Enrolling my daughter at TLC has been an incredible decision. After touring numerous facilities in the area, TLC stood out immediately for its organization and genuine understanding of child development. The curriculum is top-notch, but what truly sets them apart is the people—the staff, teachers, and directors are deeply engaged and friendly. It feels less like a daycare and more like a supportive community. I couldn’t be happier seeing my daughter flourish in such a loving environment!
Our family has enjoyed a positive experience at TLC over the past three years. The school directors, Lynn and Kristi, do an excellent job hiring and retaining top notch teachers that fill each classroom with love, laughter and learning. TLC has been a wonderful place for our two young sons to grow and thrive!
I have worked in early intervention for over 5 years and have been to many preschools in the area. This school is a true gem and by far my favorite I have been to. All of the teachers are very kind, caring, and experienced. They love what they do which is hard to come by. The school has a beautiful and welcoming layout. Each classroom is clean and organized. The playground is amazing. The school schedule and curriculum is very enriching and well planned. The school was also very accommodating to a student that I worked with. She made tremendous progress during her time at TLC. The owners Kristi and Lynn are amazing women as well as all of their staff. Some of the teachers that helped my client progress so much were: Chelsea, Cindy, Rinku, Daisy, and Vicki. They were all phenomenal. Many of the other staff were also so kind and sweet like Karen, Victoria, Paige, and Elena. They always said hello and greeted my student and I with a smile. TLC is a welcoming and warm environment that fosters learning and independence in all children.
