My child attended this daycare for about a year and a half. Overall, the teachers were dedicated and caring — especially Miss Mattie and Miss Natasha. Under Miss Mattie’s guidance, my daughter adapted well to the classroom environment, and Miss Natasha even bought hair accessories with her own money so my daughter could have beautiful hairstyles every day. However, the administration of this center is extremely disorganized and unprofessional. Although the Director has a degree in early childhood education, her communication is poor and her explanations about fees and policies are unclear. When my child was still adjusting to the new environment, the Director called and asked us to pick her up at noon because she was crying — yet the teachers’ daily feedback said she was doing fine. We were still charged the full-time tuition for those days. And, after being on the waitlist for three months, we finally followed up and were suddenly told we could start right away — during the last week of December. What they didn’t mention was that the registration fee is charged per calendar year, so we ended up paying an extra $100 for just that single week. The worst experience happened in my child’s final week. My credit card was declined for an unknown reason, but the Director never notified me immediately as stated in their Parent Handbook. Instead, she kept retrying the payment multiple times, adding several $35 transaction fees each time — without ever explaining the situation. When I finally noticed the issue through my bank, she simply added all the fees to my tuition balance instead of communicating honestly. Finally, the Parent Handbook clearly says children will not be given tablets to watch videos, but I saw some teachers allowing kids to watch iPads during class. Even after I raised this concern with the Director, nothing changed — which makes me think she allows it. In summary: The teachers are wonderful and truly care about the children, but the management is careless, misleading, and unprofessional. I would not recommend this center to parents who value transparency, communication, and consistency.

We absolutely love this preschool! From the very first day, the staff has been incredibly welcoming, caring, clean and attentive to our daughter’s needs. It’s clear that every teacher and team member genuinely loves what they do — the warmth and kindness they show each child is unmatched. Thank you to the amazing team for creating such a positive and loving space for our children to learn and grow!

After a promising tour of the facility, I initially felt confident that this daycare would be a great fit for my 5-month-old. The director was friendly, accommodating, and answered all my questions. The facility appeared clean and well-staffed, which led me to enroll right away. Unfortunately, my experience after starting care was disappointing. Communication was consistently poor. Emails to the director were often left unanswered, with about a 50% response rate. The app meant to document daily updates of the baby was inconsistently used, making it difficult to know basic details like what my baby drank/ate, diaper changes, or how he was doing. Afternoon staff frequently seemed uninformed, as information from the morning shift wasn’t properly transferred. One bright spot was Angela, the morning staff member who diligently updated the app and communicated well with me. However, she was later moved to a different classroom, which added to my concerns. Overall, the facility’s initial impression didn’t match the day-to-day experience. I didn’t feel confident about the care my baby was receiving and ultimately decided to go elsewhere. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this facility for infants or young children.

We used to love this location as my son had gone here since he was 12 weeks old. Ever since my daughter started in July, the school has just gone downhill. We had many issues with the infant class that we expressed to the assistant director as the director was rarely around to talk to. After expressing issues, they continued to happen and we didn't feel like our daughter was being cared for as best she could be. Since we had been at this school for over 2 years, there were many teachers that had left due to all the changes with the director. There also wasn't much consistency in the infant class and staff who didn't seem to know how to care for infants. We decided to change schools so that we could try to find another place where we could trust the leaders and teachers to show that they care for our children. It hurt my heart to move my son since he loved his teachers, but we needed to get our daughter out. We transferred to a new Sunrise school and it took this school over a week to transfer our paperwork to the new school. The assistant didn't know how to do anything and the director was never there to be able to show her and transfer the paperwork. I am so sad to write this review as this school has been part of our village, but I would no longer recommend this school.

Do not send your children to any Sunrise Preschool locations. They charge you the full annual fee and then announce they are closing the school a month later. Calls and emails go ignored when trying to get a refund for a school that is no longer open. Corporate will also ignore any communication
