We recently moved to Powell, and chose to enroll our 3 year old daughter at Sunny Day Academy Powell. This decision was a very simple one for us. When she was 12 weeks old we enrolled her in Sunny Day Academy in Hilliard and LOVED every minute of it. She was loved and cared for by every staff member there. Sunny Day Academy really put our minds at ease knowing she was safe and sound. When decided to move to Powell and we found out there was a Sunny Day Academy there too. We were excited to say the least. The staff there is amazing and they truly care for each child. The facility itself is very state of the art and very well designed, the rooms even come equipped with iPads. You know it's a great place when your 3 year old asks every day if she gets to go to school tomorrow. I honestly can’t say enough great things about Sunny Day Academy Powell.
Sunny Day has been a great experience for our family. The director, support staff and teachers have been amazing at creating an environment where our son thrives. The classes are structured to keep the kids busy and focused yet they provide lots of time for free play and to explore! Classroom "jobs" that teach him responsibility, brushing teeth, healthy foods, field trips.... I could go on and on... There is so much to love about this place!!
Every member of the Sunny Day team has been amazing with our daughter, even as she has worked her way up through four classrooms. She loves going to school and it is great to see her learning new things everyday in fun and creative ways, while making friends. Clean, proactive about keeping everyone healthy, and the teachers are amazing!
Every morning, the teachers are excited to see our daughter. We're amazed with how far she's advanced socially and academically in the last 4 1/2 months. To our pleasant surprise, she even knows the days of the week in Spanish! The communication between the parents and the teachers is wonderful. We couldn't be more pleased with all the school has to offer and with the entire staff at Sunny Day Academy's Powell location.
