I sent my daughter here for a month before withdrawing her due to the lack of standards. Two former employees contacted me and let my family and I know about the issues they experienced in the short time they worked here. I also experienced issues firsthand that caused me reevaluate sending her here. 1. Toddlers are sprayed with spray bottles as a form of discipline. 2. Toddlers are given expired milk. 3. They don’t clean the bottles well in the infant room. There is milk residue on the nipple and in the bottle. (Pictures attached) 4. If infants fall asleep on the floor they are left there to sleep. 5. Infants are kept in swings for hours and allowed to sleep in swings. 6. My infant (4 month old) was only fed once in a 9 hour period one day. She’s on a 3 hour schedule. 7. Toddlers are constantly screamed at and verbally abused (i.e. teachers insult children amongst themselves in ways only the teachers understand). 8. Teachers tell the children to shut their faces or they’ll sit on their face. 9. Food temperature guidelines are not followed. 10. Food portions are too small and if a child is still hungry they aren’t given additional portions. 11. Children are given a liquid that looks like dirty water, but they are passing off as “juice”. We were charged $255/week for our child to receive the best care. We didn’t get that.

No issues with this place! Our niece has been going here for two weeks now and we have seen no concerns about care. Our Niece loves it! She says hello to all her teachers, hugs them, there seems to be no concerns of improper care. She is excited to go everyday. Breakfast is always waiting when she gets there. I've managed a large kitchen before, for children, that followed the same nutrition standards and guidelines shared here (CACFP or similar programs) and as far as I can tell they follow these guidelines. This is what's good for children, making sure they get the portions and nutrition they need. Not 10 pounds of mashed potatoes just because that's all the child will eat. They provide proper portions and nutrition. They do offer to bring your own food if you like, so the reviews mentioning food issues, I'm not sure why they say that. If your child won't eat what they have, you can bring them something or send macaroni cups or whatever. They asked me to bring diaper rash cream if I wanted due to our niece getting a diaper rash (she gets these at home too so it's not a poor reflection on the daycare). In my mind, this shows me they care and want to do what's best for the children. They could easily ignore it but didn't. We got the daycare a small tube of what we use at home to use there. They provide a consent form for this and apply it to your standards or wishes. They take the children outside, it seems a lot, which is good. Children need that! They teach them! They have parties. They take photos throughout the day and share them via dojo app. They stay in communication with you. All the staff is friendly and helpful! My wife and I have no complaints other than a personal complaint of having to drive to Powell from West Hills but even that isn't that bad!

If you are reading this because you are looking for the right daycare, YOU FOUND IT! When we were in the process of moving to the area, I was so nervous about finding a great daycare for our daughter. From the moment I spoke with Miss Bri, and did a virtual tour I knew this was where I wanted her to go. We have now been going to Kiddie Korner for about 4 months and have not had one complaint! The entire staff is great, our daughter has Miss Misty and Miss Madison and they truly treat the children like their own! We love all the little activities they do with the kids, even the small ones, they send home artwork so often, and really special pieces during the holidays (we have been here for Father's Day and 4th of July so far)! The events they do for the whole family have been great as well! They also keep you very informed as the parent! We can not say enough great things about the team they have here!

My family and I moved here from Florida and were looking for a good daycare. The kids started at a terrible daycare and I was getting frustrated until I found Kiddie Korner in Powell. My husband and I absolutely love Kiddie Korner of Powell! Although a little pricy, it’s worth the money knowing your children are in good hands. My son is 1 and my daughter is 4 and they’ve been at this daycare for almost a year. The teachers are so welcoming and they take great care of the kids. They feed the kids, throw them parties and teach them cool activities. They communicate with teachers through the classroom dojo app. I have never been more satisfied with a daycare center. There have been a couple of hiccups due to Covid but they made sure to take good care of the teachers and give them some time off to get healthy for the kids. During that time they only closed the daycare once or twice but the director gave everyone a discount. They don’t send kids home just for a runny nose like the previous daycare I had my kids enrolled. I highly recommend this daycare.

After searching and comparing multiple care/prek in the area, Kiddie Korner is a good fit for what we need. Very friendly and helpful staff. This looks to be a great spot for our son.
