Our oldest daughter started having behavior issues when she was at Summit this last year. We went the previous school year with zero issues, but had a very different experience this year. The teacher and director refused to work with us despite providing resources and communicating just about daily about what could be done. She was having up to 3 accidents a day at school but she was not having accidents anywhere else. We left and have seen such a huge difference. All of that to say, listen to your gut. If something seems like it is off, it probably is.
Summit ELC is absolutely amazing! The teachers are dedicated to providing an enriched environment focused on development. My child has such a close bond with the staff and our family receives daily updates! We hear about their sensory projects, outdoor activities, eating and nap updates. I would recommend this Early Learning Center to anyone looking for reliable and trust worthy childcare.
If I could give this school zero stars I would. My daughter picked up the habit of hitting while here. She started having behavioral issues where she'd hit others and throw stuff--- we had ZERO issues with this at home, until she started at Summit. Due to her behavior the school pretty much forced her out of the ELC program. Im not defending her actions whatsoever. It's frustrating how the situation was handled by staff. Her dad and I both work full time. They expected us to drop everything and be there within 10 minutes to pick her up when they called. Our daughter also told us that her teacher scared her because she would yell at her. She's had such a big personality change since she started here and it wasn't for the better. She's now in a different environment and is flourishing and we're getting our sweet girl back!
Hands down the best Broken Arrow Daycare you will find! Great staff, great values, and great facilities. We have been a part of the Summit family for the past 6+ years and cannot say enough good things about it!
Best daycare in the Broken Arrow/Tulsa area. I have had 3 children in this daycare over the past 10 years. Unless something has changed they were always caring, new who my children were and where they were all the time. Always had a piece of paper that told me everything I needed to know about their day. Summer program was also the best around. I saw someone gave a 1 star rating, they must have been at a different daycare and are confused. .
