My child went to this facility, he broke his arm on their swing set. If your choosing to go with this school for your child's introduction to education I strongly advise against it. My son learned more at his daycare facility prior to attending this schools prek program and some how walked out with less of an education. He could count to 20 before coming here and knew his entire alphabet. If I could give this facility less than a 1 star I would but atleast this review may help a parent who actually cares about their children.
Teachers refuse to help kids as young as 3 yr old. My 3yr old daughter, who was getting OT and PT twice a week for weakness in her arm and back muscles, was forced to play in the sandbox alone because she couldn’t take off her shirt by herself in order to play with the other kids in the blowup swimming pool/slide set. When confronted about the situation, I was told by the teacher that they do not assist kids to take off their clothing because they are supposed to be independent. It blew my mind that adults would refuse to help a 3yr old so that she would not be left out of a fun activity even though they knew the therapist was coming there twice a week. SHAMEFUL!!!
Stepping Stones has been a family to my family and I since day 1. They welcomed both my children with unconditional love. They started as infants and are now in the pre-school and pre-k programs and i could't be happier. Their teachers have prepared them very well for school and are very nurturing. I wouldn't reccommend any other early learning center...Stepping Stones is the best place for children to grow and blossom. It is a wonderful establishment and it couldnt go unrecognized without the director, Mary-Erin...she does a fantastic job and works very hard to keep all children and parents happy😊.
Children are unattended, parents are not updated on serious or any issues, like bullying to the extent of injuries. Preschoolers do not learn anything but they do have a great nap time. There is absolutely no organization and no communication between teachers, staff, parents, or administrators. Do not trust your precision children at this joke of a facility that believe parents are unintelligent enough to report them.
NO SECURITY AT ALL! All doors are unlocked and the owner is more concerned with money than the kids. Owner doesn't "like" cameras, if that isn't a red flag what is? I was told to bring my kids elsewhere if I wanted security, smartest thing she said so far. Additionally, nobody is learning a thing there, lots of nonsense.
