Had a great experience at Stafford Tech while furthering my education and work training while in pursuit of an Advanced Machinist / Toolmaker certification required and overseen by the Vermont Department of Labor. The Stafford Tech team had always been highly supportive of myself and of my fellow students in the program through final completion and certification. After completion of the Toolmaker program I decided to take welding classes provided by Stafford Tech and the support never changed with regard to administrative and instructor on-site and off-site support and accountability when you needed help. If you want to succeed, the Stafford Tech team will help you succeed if that's what you want when beginning or furthering your career!
Stafford makes it incredibly difficult to enroll in any of their classes. I think the school board should know that they're paying their staff to be there till 4 and it seems everyone locks up and leaves 15 minutes early. Their online enrollment doesn't work so they're requiring everyone that would like to enroll in a class to come pay in person at the Stafford Tech Admissions office. I got their at 3:45 and could not get into the building from any entrance and all the lights were off, as I watched multiple staff members zoom out of the parking lot... No wonder they're having difficulty filling their classes they obviously don't care to stay open long enough for people working full time jobs to be able to make it there in time to register and pay for their classes!!!
My experience at Stafford Technical Program was in the Adult Continuing Education program with a focus on Welding. The facilities are excellent providing access to all primary types of welding in the industry. As a working artist and a public school educator, my technical welding classes in SMAW and GTAW serve as the solid foundation that I needed for a career in metal working. The staff at the office and my teachers were helpful, knowledgable, and personable.
The Best staff , kind and caring students. I go there for my hair and am now considering attending as an adult student. 110% recommend Stafford.
It is such a great school! You learn a lot and quickly adapt to it. The people are nice and pretty inclusive.
