My granddaughter was the target of bullying here. Nothing was done to help her. Most of the teachers are on their phones not watching the children. After several incidents of bullying, along with an ER visit and in the end her being hit with a clipboard and having her eye brow sliced open I had to pull her from this daycare. Nothing was done about the bullying. My granddaughter is 3 and shouldn't be afraid to go to school! Why was the other child running around with the teachers clipboard? They are not toys! Again lack of teachers paying attention! I would not recommend this daycare to anyone!
i cant attest to how this place is today, however i lived in the “hospital” unit of vac in the 70s. i also went to school at vac well living there. i remember the pool it’s where i terrifyingly learned to swim. school was fine as well as programs they had for physical therapy. i remember they had a zip line out back that i loved. with that being said i have to say i’m 53 years old and still have awful ,abusive memories from this place. sadly i went through abuse every day i lived there and the trauma has left me with a lifetime of issues to live with. i remember the play room and begging the volunteer grandparents to take me home with them. it looks like the hospital unit is no longer these days and that’s most likely a blessing. i was a child than and i think back on vac with a lot of curiosity about why it was the way it was and did people who brought there kids there realize how bad they treated the kids or even what kind of training did the staff go through to work there. i guess i was basically left with much ptsd from the place. hopefully it’s a better place now but the reviews still don’t look great. 😕😕😕
Hands down the best daycare I have encountered. All of the teachers and staff are kind, engaging, caring and dedicated to the little ones they teach and care for. I never felt nervous leaving my little one there, and she never fussed when I left. Would definitely utilize them in the future if the need arises.
Remember going here okay playground some good memories.
My child thrived at first. Then, after months of being there, was target and labeled as a horrible kid because the new teacher in his class treated him unkindly and was constantly instigating bad behaviors. My child has come home and told me some very unsettling things that happened to him. They have a horrible amount of staff turn over and have a hard time keeping staff. I would not recommend this school to anyone.
