St. Timothy'S Pre-School

We have had a wonderful experience with St. Timothy's Preschool. From the most thorough and kind tour from Allyson, the Director, when we were looking for the right place for our Son to the absolutely incredible staff including the AD Ms. Cathy and honestly everyone else throughout the year. His teacher, Ms. Johanna, is next level warm, caring and patient and you can tell she just loves her job and the children in her class. The same goes for his Assistant Teacher Ms. Maura. We are a high maintenance family with food restrictions and other specific needs and I have never once felt like a problem or burden. I can't say enough about how safe I feel and how loving and kind this place is. Highly recommend!

St. Timothy’s is family oriented, well organized, and highly caring! Their ability to prioritize family needs and the children’s well-being above personal interests, is truly special. Both our children have attended. We are fortunate to have spent three special years here, between the two children. The youngest is now getting ready to graduate after two years. It will be very tough to say goodbye as this school year wraps up. St. Timothy’s staff have fostered amazing memories, and the educational growth in our children is incredibly visible. Our eldest was definitely prepared for Kindergarten and is doing quite well. Our youngest is ready for the adventure ahead, eager to start Kindergarten. Miss Allyson, and Miss Cathy are rockstars at organizing and running this pre-school. The teachers are very special to us, and are remarkable in their respective areas. Their ability to make the days fun filled and educational is a talent in its own right. To our dearest Miss Nellie, Miss Jenn, Miss Mary, Miss Lisa, Miss Allie, Miss Bruna, and Miss Samira - The Hack family owes you the world! Thank you for EVERYTHING! St. Timothy’s is highly recommended. Your children will be in good hands, and they will thank you later :)

My toddler absolutely loves this school! We put our child originally in for socializing after the pandemic and they have blossomed there. My child talks about how much they miss the other children and teachers on home days. I would highly recommend this preschool if you are looking for a warm, diverse and small welcoming school that primarily wants children to have fun first while learning educational things through play. I always appreciate how responsive and caring the staff are and how much work they put into making the children feel safe and excited for preschool. The children's happiness there speaks volumes. Update: Our oldest is off to elementary school! Every year She has had wonderful teachers and I can’t say enough positive things about this school. The teachers and staff are so kind and loving towards the students and families. They have instilled a sense of community, joy of learning and a safe space to be whoever the kids are! We were so lucky to find this amazing play based learning school in our town! Send your child here, you won’t regret it!

My son attended 3 years at St Timothy’s at Herndon. He had amazing teachers with great experiences. He loved going to school almost everyday. 😊 I personally highly recommend the school if you get an opportunity to be part of the school.

St. Timothy's Pre-School is the best bang for your buck in the area. Easily a third the price of other preschools, St. Tim's still delivers quality education in a loving and fun environment. We are enrolling our son for his second year, and he just finished Summer Camp here. We also plan to enroll our younger son when he is old enough. We love the teachers. They communicate well and work hard to prepare the students for kindergarten. The classes are structured, so that the students have a main teacher with her assistant, but they get to interact with all the teachers and students as they spend time in all the classrooms at some point in the day. My son really took to this. Also, being able to drop off and pick up using their "carpool" technique is super convenient. I love not having to get out and drag out my sleeping baby in order to pick up or drop off my preschooler. It is a real luxury at times. St. Timothy's preschool sits on a large landscaped campus and is very conveniently located close to Fairfax County Parkway which makes it fast enough that we get there from Great Falls in 15 minutes. It's perfect for families in Reston, Sterling and even parts of Ashburn or Vienna. Definitely check it out.
