Herndon Community Center is a wonderful place for the whole community. The facility is clean, well-organized, and welcoming. The staff are friendly, professional, and always willing to help. There are great programs for children, families, and adults, and the environment feels safe and inclusive. It’s a valuable community space that truly serves people of all ages, and I highly recommend it to anyone living in or visiting Herndon.
I love the tennis courts here. I haven’t used anything other than tennis to be honest so I cannot speak on anything but that. 5 courts all with lights 4 pickleball courts and 3 of the courts during the winter become an indoor court. And one practice wall which I use regularly. The one thins is the water I wish there was more than just one fountain outside personally. And when I was there 7/14/2025 the fountains weren’t working sadly hence why I suggest having 2
Kate is the best swimming instructor. She make sure that you get really comfortable with water and gives attention to individual doesn’t rush. She is kind and well experienced. Overall i liked the facility! Staff was polite and gave all answers patiently.
Appreciate the effort they put in the community centre! It’s feels much better than going to LA fitness or other franchises. I feel more connected to the neighbourhood and sense of connection. The place is very clean and the gym has everything for a proper workout. My husband uses the pool and he likes it too.
Extremely disappointing visit. I went in simply to ask about activities, but instead of being welcomed or given information, I was shown prices first — as if to discourage me or imply I couldn’t afford it. The interaction came across as very snobby and dismissive. For a community center that’s supposed to serve residents, the management’s attitude is unprofessional and uninviting. Reading other reviews, it seems I’m not the only one who has experienced this kind of treatment. No wonder the place feels empty.
