I had a truly wonderful visit to St. Thomas United Methodist Church yesterday. The church is amazing, and all the staff and volunteers who work there are extremely nice and hardworking. I especially appreciate their deep commitment to the community, like their initiative to give away food. This level of kindness, service, and dedication is very appreciated. We love this church. Been going for over 14 years now. We used to go to the Calvery Methodist at Arlington but moved to Manassas in 2011. We switched membership with the move. If you are looking for a church to worship and form a sence of community with, then St. Thomas is the best church for you.

Not full 5 ⭐ because we unable to comment on its sermon etc., only through ⤵️ "The church practices what it preaches", from another post. We are learning about this church through the experience of volunteering, from its Food Pantry and from reading about this establishment. Coming from a born Catholic, who stopped attending the church for a long time nor had faith in it but still believed. I can't see our family ever switching churches but are joyfully glad to contribute through its community outreach opportunities, extending God's hands. Our family has been going to St Thomas for 24 years. We were impressed with the children's ministry when we first came. We had no children yet, but we were planning a family. Our kids have grown up in this church. We've seen many changes over the years. We have stuck with it through the thick and the thin. We have served in many of the community outreach ministries such as the youth group, food pantry, clothing closet, trunk or treat, children's choir, music ministries church board and more. We have learned so much about God and his message of love to the world. The people of this congregation are true disciples of Christ. Feeding the hungry, ministering to all ages of people and recognizing the changing needs of the community. During COVID, they were totally amazing keeping people connected to church in unique and creative ways. We still have the online services which is a wonderful way to introduce new people to this Bible believing church. This church definitely practices what they preach. We've stayed here throughout many changed in pastors and other leadership. Please note that the true leadership, God himself has not changed. If you haven't been here in awhile, come back and join us. Everyone is welcome here.
