What Parents Say
Parents praise Manassas Baptist Church's preschool program for its caring, professional staff and welcoming environment. Children reportedly transition well to school, show enthusiasm about attending, and make strong academic and social progress. The facility is noted for accommodating children with diverse needs, including those with autism.
Manassas Baptist contemporary services are a typical non denomination church. They have small groups, friendly greeters, kids clubhouse, music and a sermon. Pastor David is a wonderful preacher. the music is great and the people are "us" teachers, doctors, students, service workers, police offices etc. all looking for community and support from us. We are all broken and Manassas Baptist is a place where it's not to overwhelming and the people are amazing. The contemporary services take place next door at the old Marstellar middle school. services times are 11:15, small groups for middle/high-school and adults start at 10am before the main service. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are looking for a church that preaches the Bible. You can jump in or take your time here. There are plenty of opportunities to plug and make new Friends, all at your own pace. Overall a 9.8 out of 10.
Our son was recently enrolled at the Preschool here & we have been thrilled with the level of kindness & professionalism the entire staff has shown us! Stephanie was prompt in returning our call to schedule a tour & then made the enrollment process seamless. We toured many other preschools, but knew instantly that this was the right place for our family! He doesn’t get nervous or upset at drop off & when he’s home now he talks non stop about his fun days at school & tells us about all of his new friends. His teachers & ALL of the staff members here are so incredibly caring & friendly. We truly feel so welcome here & we are beyond grateful to be a part of such a very special place!
We absolutely LOVE MBP. Our twins have excelled here! The director, teachers and extended care staff are all so wonderful with the kids. It seems like the teachers know all of the kids in the school, not just their own class. They do a wonderful job making each child feel comfortable and secure, but still appropriately challenged. One of our twins has high functioning autism, and since he started at MBP last summer (for camp), and we’ve seen him make incredible strides. We were terrified about how his separation anxiety would play out, but by the end of the first week of preschool camp, there were no tears. By the end of the second week, he was running ahead of me to his classroom! I know my kids are well-loved, nurtured and in great hands. These kids are really, genuinely excited to go to school. When we drive by on an off-day, they wave and say “bye preschool – see you tomorrow!”. Thanks for all you guys do!
I LOVE this preschool! This is my daughter's 3rd year. She started in the 2.5 year old class and they do such a wonderful job getting the young kids used to being away from their parents. They also learn so much! She is now in the 5 day, 4 year old class. She is already loving it and she just started! My son just started the 2.5 year old class this year and he talks about school all the time! They do a great job at helping the parents stay informed, doing fun, educational and silly things with the kids. And my kids are learning great socialization skills!
For a Commonwealth State, in the last 10 years of membership, this church has grown to be an outstanding place of worship for my family. Welcoming, friendly, engaging, misdion driven and holds no compromise in preaching the Word of God. A great example of a New Testament Church.
