St. John'S Parents' Day Out

The church is beautiful, but the wedding coordinator was very huffy and rude. She stressed everyone out with how much she wanted to rush. She really killed the mood for everyone and it was sad to see. Please remember that a wedding day is special!

My husband and I were privileged yesterday afternoon to witness the marriage ceremony of our granddaughter. Mallory Gaunce to her fiancée (now husband) Jeffrey Nachbar performed so beautifully by Reverend Hoffman. As Methodists ourselves, we appreciated the compassionate way he wove the information he had received during his pre-marital interview into his comments to the couple, making it far more personal and meaningful than the traditional and too often forgettable ceremony. We are grateful to Rev. Hoffman for making this exchange of vows so memorable for all of us witnessing this beautiful Christian event. He set the tone for the remainder of this spectacular day and most importantly for the new life these amazing young people are beginning today. We have one regret. Since our Pastor Mark Holland resigned last year and our ention thchurch reluctantly was sold, many of us are still “church homeless” , not yet finding a “true match “ for us. But living closer to Leavenworth KS rules our participation at your church at 86. Glad to see you have a virtual service and will mention it to others in our former church family. The people here are so incredibly nice. The music during the service is top notch. Great venue for weddings as well with its wide center aisle, beautiful tile floors and tons of natural light from huge windows.

Beautiful sanctuary. Established church. I dealt with facility management as well as other comity officials. Great experience. I was happy to be of service.

Management is poor. Disorganized and uncaring people.
