My son has been attending St John's for the last year, since he was a few months old, and we love it! He gets excited every morning when we're waiting for the teacher to open the door, and he has so much fun every day. I really appreciate that they let the kids explore, and when the weather is good they'll take the kids out to Liberty Park for walks. They use an app for communication, and it works really well. You can message the teachers or the admins and they respond really quickly.
St. John’s has been wonderful for our family! We have 2 boys there now and our daughter did aftercare and camp wildlife in the last. The staff is kind and easy to work with. The app is great and I love seeing my kids playing/learning during the day while I’m at work. We love St. John’s and would highly recommend!
St John’s CCDC is the best. The teachers are so caring and make my son feel right at home. He’s always happy, learning new things, and excited to go each day. It’s hard as a mom not to be there, but I know he’s in such good hands. His daycare truly feels like his home away from home, and it gives me so much peace of mind.
St. John’s is more than just a preschool/daycare it is a community. I was very lucky to get into St. John’s in an emergency situation. Amanda Sutliff goes above the call of duty. I don’t know how she does it all, but she knows every kid that wants to that building and has a relationship with them. I was a newly single mom and Amanda made sure to go out of her way to support us. She made communication easy and abundant. I get texts, emails days in advance with updates or changes. if they have any immediate concerns I get direct messages or a phone call. I get photos of the activities and daily notes sent home so I can stay updated. I have now been apart of the community for 7 years and have 2 kids that are apart of St. John’s. It is a second home for my kids and they have made friends that they have seen every day for years. I highly recommend the Liberty park location.
The staff that worked hands on with my son were fantastic and he made some friendships he'll cherish for years. However, I have to take off 2 stars because of the administrative side of things. There is a significant lack of communication with parents. If you don't check your email every morning and read the details of each email that is sent, you'll find yourself up the creek regarding any special notices. They don't call or leave any kind of physical notices where parents pick up their children. (Like, "reminder we're closed on this day or reminder we're taking a special field trip on this day, etc). If there's a school closure and you didn't catch the email, you won't know until day of. The program itself is fantastic but the way they run their office needs serious reform. Personally I'm in $4,000+ in debt due to the minimal communication and I know I wouldn't be in this hole had a phone call been made. My situation is unique but I'm sure the frustration from lack of communication isn't, as I've shared these thoughts with other parents whose children attend.
