The Cottonwood Preschool

We love the cottonwood preschool with Child Time! We have had both of our kids there, now over 4 years, and can't say enough good things! Both of our kids have been here since they were under one, and we honestly couldn’t be happier with our experience. From day one, the teachers have been so kind, caring, and attentive. It’s such a relief as a parent to know your kids are not only safe, but also truly cared for and loved while they’re at school. The administration has also been great to work with. Anytime we’ve had a question or needed something, they’ve been quick to respond and very approachable. Ms. Lacey has gone above and beyond when we’ve had questions or concerns, and everything has always been addressed appropriately. Ms. Tamara, the current director of this location, is wonderful and a great communicator. Ms. Raven as the assistant, and now dino teacher, has been wonderful as well! We have also especially loved Ms. Kennedy (who taught my son for 2 years!) and Ms. Sam and Ms. Natalie. It feels like they truly know our kids and our family and they do a wonderful job making sure everyone feels welcome and supported, as well as teaching our kids so many wonderful things. Most importantly, our kids love going to school here, and love their teachers. They come home excited about what they’ve learned, showing us all their artwork, and telling us about the fun things they did with friends. We really feel like Child Time is a safe, fun, and supportive and educational environment, and we’re so grateful to have found this place for our children.

My daughter has been attending the Childtime at the Cottonwood location for over a year, and we're thrilled with her progress as she recently moved up to another class with her friends. We absolutely love the caring and dedicated teachers and staff, who continually engage the children with a variety of creative activities. Recently, they even started introducing Spanish vocabulary, which adds an exciting new dimension to her learning experience! Outdoor time is ample, and it's reassuring to see the teachers apply sunscreen on every child, especially given Utah's high skin cancer rate. Every day, my daughter comes home excited to share something new she learned, be it from a visit from a fireman with their fire truck, a chance to pet animals, a puppet show, or even the occasional yoga session for fun! Additionally, Childtime offers great opportunities for parents to get involved. While it's not mandatory, there are plenty of volunteer activities available for those who want to spend quality time with their children at school. The snacks provided are also healthy and fresh, which is a plus. The teacher turnover has been minimal, which is comforting as my daughter has had consistent interactions with the same staff members so far. Overall, we couldn't be happier with our experience at Childtime!

We have been with the Cottonwood Preschool for over a year now, and my boys LOVE their teachers! The teachers and staff are so nice and energetic, which is important for childcare. My older boy learned colors, numbers, letter, etc. from Guppy classroom and talks about his experience at school all the time! My little one started his journey at the infant room from this July, and he smiles at his teachers every morning when dropping off. Clean environment, lovely kids, caring teachers are the key words that I can think about this childcare. They also organize social events every year so that parents can get to know each other as well. I just wish teacher turnover could be less so that kiddos don't loose the teachers they love.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this preschool. They are caring for our baby and toddler and I'm so grateful we landed here after one childcare mess after another. Tamara, the director, is wonderful to work with. Everyone is responsive and communicative, open to asking for suggestions when the kids were transitioning to day care and having a hard day, not guarded about telling us when things were harder for the kids or if the baby bumped her head while learning how to stand, etc. and it truly helps them take care of the kids. Their care is developmentally focused and the way they manage the babies and toddlers is wonderful and evidence based. Our toddler has so much fun with the multitude of crafts and activities there and the classrooms are filled with the kids' art. I especially love the photos and videos I get throughout the day. It's truly an incredible place and I'm so grateful for everyone there. Special shout outs and thanks to Ms. Porsche and Ms. Angela who helped immensely with our baby's transition to day care as well as Miss Jodee who is incredible with the babies!! Also to Miss Natalie and Miss Sam who have been so attentive to our toddler and adaptive to his needs on harder days during his transition to day care. Miss Raven and Miss Tamara do a great job keeping the place running smoothly and my toddler and baby love them as well. My toddler just asked if they could all come on our vacation with us! Thank you for being a team we can whole-heartedly trust with our kids and for everything you do to take great care of them!

We have two kids enrolled at The Cottonwood Preschool by Child Time Inc., and we couldn’t be happier. The teachers, staff, and director are caring, supportive, and truly dedicated to the children’s growth. Our kids love going every day, and we feel confident knowing they’re in such a warm and nurturing environment. Highly recommend!
