Springfield-Greene County Park Board

They have really messed up the pool hours at the indoor pools! The only time its avalible to anyone who wants to exercise and not do the programs is between the hours of 5:25 am and 8 am. At 8 am the water aerobics people start showing and clog up the pool standing around socializing. They start at 9 and are done at 10 but usually dont get out of the pool till 11 againg clogging up the pool standing around socalizing! Thats only 1 hr till 12 when the zest program starts. It last till 1. So now there is only 1 hr till they close at 2 which really only gives anyone 45 min till you gotta be out of the pool. They open back up at 4 but there is only an hour and a half till another water arobics at 5:30. Again another rude and inconsiderate crowd that just clogs up the pool early socalizing. So now I have spent 565 for a family pass that I cannot use at this pool unless I want to get up at 4:30 am to use the pool before all the rude people and bs programs! This is absolutely utter nonsense! The parks boards needs to do some rethinking and better understanding of how their nonsense hours and over booking of programs has made the pool useless to others! Im sure this will all fall on deaf ears! Not my problem and not my job seems to be the trademark of the new generations!

A shame they cut down the white birch tree at the park close to the boys club on Park Ave. Wife and i loved to go there and sit in its shade. Not going there any more.. You ruined it for us.

Our community is so lucky to have the many parks, events and recreational venues available to enjoy. Thank you Springfield-Greene County Park Board for making Springfield such a treasure!

Love the parks, very well kept! Killian is where I play softball, I can even bring my pup with me.
