I've had my two kids with Taffen's childcare services for several years. She and her staff create a community with the kids. In addition to being an academic pre-school, they teach the kids respect of boundaries, clear communication, and healthy conflict-resolution and cooperation skills.

This is the best daycare!! The staff is wonderful. I lost my babysitter with no notice. I called around to other daycares and was just asking questions about the facilities and if I could drop by unannounced if my child was to attend. They all said I had to give at least a 30 minute heads up. I called Spirit of Love and met with Ms. Taffen, I was immediately greats with a big smile and was shown around. She told me what to expect and welcomed us with open arms. The staff is great with the kids. They all have smiles on their faces and I am greeted with hugs and high fives from all of the children. I recommend Spirt of Love to anybody that is looking for a family oriented daycare where they treat the kids like they are their own.

This has been the most amazing childcare center for my 2year old. My son has had a tremendous turn around in his social development as well as his learning skills. I love this center. If you want more than just a babysitter this is definitely the place to bring you children.

Spirit of love childcare is a breath of fresh air! After going through a few other childcares, I know we’ve finally found HOME. No words or any amount of money could ever be enough to show how much I appreciate this childcare. I have 3 littles (2 that walk) that literally run into the facility everyday to be welcomed with a warm hug from Mrs. Taffen. It warms my momma heart knowing my kids are happy and excited to go to school daily. I also can’t rave enough about the staff. They take excellent care of all 3 of my babies. Informing me throughout the day on brightwheel what they’re doing, pictures, what they’ve ate, potty breaks and when they’re running low on personal items. The teachers and staff truly make us feel like family and I can’t thank them enough for what they do for me and my children. So if you’re looking for a safe and loving environment for your child/ren to attend I highly recommend giving spirit of love a chance❤️

My son has been attending for 2 years, since he was about 10 months old. The SOL women are my TRIBE and my son is THRIVING. These women love the children in their care, support their development and provide a strong base for growing into compassionate contributors to the world. They provide meals, extra long hours to help working families, and they care not just for the kids but for the entire family. I cannot sing their praises enough! My son isn't quite 3 and he knows his full name, is potty trained, sings his ABCs, counts and understands what what he is counting, knows all his colors, he plays with other children well, and participates in cleaning up and household tasks. I credit SOL for much of his progress -- my husband and I are continuously surprised by his vocabulary, ability to speak well and by all things he knows. Most importantly I know that when I drop him off he is being loved well and allowed to be a kid and learn through play and exploration. After visiting many daycares, it was so important to me that he be allowed to be a kid rather than have "lessons" at this stage.
