We’ve had such a wonderful experience with our two sons at this preschool! It’s such a loving, warm, and truly family-oriented environment. The program is fantastic — there’s a perfect balance of learning and play, with so much time spent outdoors. The kids love exploring the beautiful butterfly and vegetable gardens, and they always come home with big smiles and stories to share. I also really appreciate the weekly chapel on Thursdays — it’s such a special part of their routine. The teachers are incredibly kind and passionate about what they do, making learning so much fun. Ms. Jessy deserves a special mention — she’s the sweetest and most gentle teacher, and our boys absolutely adore her. The ladies in the office are always so welcoming and kind; you can tell they genuinely care about every child and family. Another huge plus is the variety of sports offered during school hours — it’s so convenient not having to rush to after-school activities. We couldn’t be happier.
I really love this school and feel that it is a hidden gem. I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a preschool. Three of my children have attended South Miami Lutheran Church School over the last 8 years so I feel that I know it well. I am so happy with the preschool experience that they have had. It is a loving and warm environment. My children have also been more that ready for kindergarten when they graduate. The staff has years of experience and you can tell that the administration cares about their teachers. Most of the teachers have been there for a long time and that speaks to the environment. There approach is simple and thoughtful. They have always been spot on with any feedback they have given me. I truly value the experience that I have had there.
The love and care this little school has put into my son’s education and wellbeing is something I will always be thankful for, there aren’t enough words to express my gratitude for this beautiful little school and the caring team that work here. Both of my daughters have attended South Miami Lutheran Church School from the time they were babies — my oldest started at 10 months old and my youngest at 13 months. Before them, my niece and nephew were both students here. From day one, the teachers have been nothing short of amazing. They’re warm, patient, and honestly treat the children like family. The school has a nurturing, welcoming environment that it really feels like a home away from home. The director, Iraesma, goes above and beyond to be kind and accommodating, which makes such a difference as a parent. Every teacher and staff member is dedicated to creating a safe and loving space where kids can grow, learn, and thrive. South Miami Lutheran really is a hidden gem in the community — we feel beyond lucky to have found it, and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.
This school is truly remarkable. We have had a great experience. The amount of activities the kiddos get to do and the attention they get is unmatched. Wish they had more grades available so my son can stay longer.
