South Hampton Asp

First off this isn’t enough space. I was under the impression that I was getting a newly renovated 2br 2 and a half bath. First off the apartment that I selected online was not listed properly. It was a 2br 1and half bath. So they had to find me a 2br 2half bath townhouse, which they did. Now this newly renovated townhouse has mold in the laundry room and two holes cut out in the ceiling of the laundry room where the mold was severe. They came and patched the holes and just plastered over the remaining MOLD! The thermostat is not working and when it finally cuts on the circuit Breaker click off 🤦🏾‍♂️. There was only one toilet working at the time of move in. Now there is two working toilets and I’m waiting for them to connect my toilet in the master bedroom. There was missing screens and the blinds in the back room are inoperable. My advice don’t sign your lease until everything is done because now they are telling me to put in work orders for things that should be a priority. Now I’m in line with everyone else for my new renovated townhome with MOLD. Do not move here. They just paint and plaster over mold and try to charge you a new renovated prices because now you can’t see the mold. This is currently Manchester Ridge the New owners are changing it to South Hampton Estates. Also the contractor (purposely) slid a box in front of my camera line of sight. People get upset when you call out their piss poor work. They will play in your face if you let them. Update December 5, 2023 all repairs have been completed besides the screens for the windows. FYI they include renters insurance in lease agreement but they will still have you try to get outside renters insurance so I had to call and cancel the policy I set up personally. Also they also say that it is a fitness center out here and it’s on the lease….. I have yet to see a fitness center and when I call to ask they can never give a straight answer or it’s a let me ask my manager about the fitness center 🤦🏾‍♂️. Also there is a downward slope where you can tell the foundation is slowing sinking and moving. The foundation is moving slowly. Two things you must know about the NEWLY RENOVATED Townhomes the plumbing is 20 plus years old so you may want to get a good water filter if you don’t already drink bottled water. Also there are big trees with many leaves spiders and insects.

Do not stay here. I know you'll probably read a lot of reviews when you're looking into these places, but just know that there are literally rats in the streets, the office absolutely does not care about you and doesn't pay attention to you unless you're literally screaming at them, and we had to replace belongings because of ACTUAL SEWAGE flowing from out of the toilets into the living room. I get that the apartments are cheap, but anywhere is better than here. Unless you really love having no central AC/heat and being charged for literally nothing, I suggest you move on. Pictures of the Water a sewage backing up the third time. Pictures of the employees trying to fight me. Mail box broken in Multiple times. I didn’t get any pictures of the rats but trust me they there. Employee are nice until after the get ur money then its down hill from there .When I say run I mean run from there.

Carlos was nice and answered my question addressed the issue best to his ability. Desiree was a great agent to work with and worked with me to get me moved in. No place is perfect and they really did an amazing job to get me moved in quickly as possible. The neighborhood is quiet for the most part everyone stays to themselves. It really is what you make it. From apartments to buying a home there is always going to be something only one is perfect is God and I am so grateful to God for my townhouse. Thank You Desiree and Front office staff. Your doing a great job no matter what people say you are helping people and changing lives.

MY EXPERIENCE WAS OUTSTANDING! I’m moving from Fla to Ga and picked this place based on the recent reviews I read. Mrs. Davis helped me with my move in. During my application process she was always more than willing to help me with my questions. The staff was also helpful if she was unavailable. My calls were returned if I had to leave a message. I can’t complain about ANYTHING concerning my experience here. My apartment was renovated so everything was brand new! The price is definitely affordable compared to other places I’ve looked into. Thanks again for such a great experience and I’ll be sure refer anyone I know looking for a place to live in College Park

I recently moved into South Hampton a few months ago, the Assistant manager Mr. McKinley was very pleasant each time I spoke with him in person and or over the phone. Everything was broken down properly in terms of what all was suppose to be done. While I've been stay here there hasn't been any drama on the property, it's fairly quiet. The move in was quick my apartment is spacious,No rats, No roaches new carpet clean cabinets and a lots of storage space. What I enjoy most is kitchen😊 because I love to cook.
