What Parents Say
Day-Star Christian Academy receives predominantly positive feedback from parents who praise the caring staff, quality curriculum, and child development outcomes. The director holds a PhD in education and parents report their children are happy and thriving. However, a few parents raised concerns about facility maintenance and health protocols.
My little one, grand babies, nieces and nephews over the years have attended this childcare center and I would recommend this program a thousand times over!!! They are very caring and they encourage parental involvement. I read a few of the negative reviews and would to anyone looking go see this center for yourself, these are honest and wholesome professionals who run this childcare center! DayStar keep up the good work!!!! And I will continue to send referrals your way!!!
I love this place. They are very caring. They go above and beyond for the well being of the babies. They provide transportation and healthy meals. They were a God send when we moved to this side of town 🫶🏾 awesome my granddaughter loves going to school everyday....
Nice friendly environment, I have been sending my kids here for years and would definitely recommend!
I absolutely love this place! My niece attends and is highly intelligent; very much above grade level due to their curriculum. The director, Calista Kelly, has a PHD in education; she's very patient, informative, and loves what she does. No place is perfect, but this place is amazing, safe, and produces great child development. My niece appears happy to be attending this academy ❤️
The director is very kind, but i don’t care for the upkeep of the facility. The staff ( at least 4) walk around the center without mask, even with the delta variant rising. One day they were getting ready to hand me someone else’s child and that was the day, i knew it was time to remove my child from the center alongside the aforementioned issue. Upon taking my child out, said child was infected with a severe rash likely from someone not wearing a mask with some form of herpes (information obtain from causes of rash) and my husband and I do not have herpes and our child had never experienced this until attending this center.
