Solid Step Learning Center

One of the toughest decisions a Mother can make is deciding IF and WHERE they would trust their child being taken care of. I made the choice to put my faith into Solid Step first and foremost , solely because of Mrs. Mary Ann and what a truly phenomenal human she is. My nephew whom is now soon to be 16, began Solid Step at age 1 and graduated VPK. I now also have a soon to be graduate of VPK who also began at age 1 when I decided to go back to school to pursue a Nursing Career. The comfort that I feel as a Mother and the peace of mind that it brings to me every single morning when I drop my child off to Solid Step is something money CANNOT buy. I am not the easiest nor softest Mother to deal with when it comes to my child. However, I will say genuinely, and purely with full confidence, that Mrs. Sarah Johnson has been such a complete blessing to both of my son and I's lives. Not only does Mrs. Sarah build strong relationships with students by showing genuine interest in their lives, she takes it 5 steps above. My child had the pleasure of being in the 2 year old room for the second half of the year with Mrs. Sarah and is now on his way to graduating VPK with her. Mrs. Sarah creates an inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and respected. She provides constructive feedback that encourages growth and improvement. Mrs. Sarah also celebrates EVERY student and their achievements, both big and small, to boost morale while modeling positive behavior's and attitudes to inspire ALL students to do the same. Her teaching style incorporates special privileges, for example; Line leader privileges. She shows class recognition, she uses tangible rewards, and token systems, verbal praise, YOU NAME IT. Her passion for teaching is admirable and I give so much of my respect not only as a Human but as Mother to Mrs. Sarah Johnson for all that she does and for showing up for our children every single day of the week. WE LOVE MRS. SARAH!!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR SIMPLY BEING YOU!!!!!

I have to start out by saying good job to all the ladies in there! They work so hard to keep our children safe and happy, while also learning. I could go on for hours about how GREAT this school is! Mary Ann is such a wonderful person, since my daughter started in March of this year, she has been so helpful and Sasha loves both of her teachers, Mrs. Jamie and Ms. Jess! My child is also in Early Steps and her speech therapist comes every Thursday and the fact that they will do whatever they need to do to make sure your kid is ok, but they also care about the parents here <3 5 stars from me! I will forever be recommending this place to my mom friends, etc.

Sharing Our World Therapy Dogs looks forward to our monthly visit at Solid Step Learning Center! The dogs always enjoy their visit with all the kids. The staff there is awesome! And the kids are great too!!

Our sun has been going to the school for about two years now. If I can say one thing about the facility and the staff is that they honestly truly do care about what they do. They're passionate they learn every child in the facility they know every child by name. They treat them all with the proper love. Compassion and education that is needed. I honestly feel like the day. Miss mary ann retires is the day that the daycare system loses another great educator, We really do love the 1 on 1 conversations we get to have with them and how they make everything feel with the extra personal touch. And just the information they're able to provide us about our son. Do yourself a favor check the school out, give them a try. It's affordable compared to other schools in the area and the extra care, and attention is very much appreciated

The peace I get knowing my daughter is in a safe place is a comfort money can't buy! My daughter started in the infant room and is now in VPK. I want to thank All the staff and wonderful teachers who have helped her grow. A special thank you to the director, she is Amazing 👏
