Leading By Example Childcare

I should have written this review a long time ago, but the time that has passed doesn’t take away from the incredible impact the team at Leading by Example Daycare has had on our lives. Finding a daycare that could truly meet my son’s needs was incredibly difficult. He has always required a bit of extra support—but without a formal diagnosis, many schools just didn’t know how to help him. He went through multiple daycares, often being dismissed or misunderstood, and at one point, I even lost my job because of it. I was devastated, unsure of what to do next. That’s when an ELC employee recommended Ms. Keri’s school. She told me “Ms. Keri is usually full because she’s so amazing—but she’s worth reaching out to.” So I did. I sent a long email explaining our past experiences and what we were looking for in a care provider. Ms. Keri didn’t have availability right away, but she assured me that she would reach out when she did. And not long after, she did just that—welcoming us with open arms. From the very beginning, Ms. Keri and her amazing team—Ms. Krystal, Ms. Julie, Ms. Alyssa, and others whose names I may not have known personally or forgotten (I'm sorry!)—showed my son an abundance of patience, love, and understanding. He blossomed under their care. The transformation in him was nothing short of miraculous. He went from struggling and overwhelmed to thriving, confident, and emotionally secure. He left Leading by Example a completely different child—happier, calmer, and ready to face the world. I was terrified of him starting kindergarten, but thanks to the foundation built at Ms. Keri’s school, he had an absolutely amazing school year with only minor challenges. I credit this success to the deep emotional work, guidance, and love he received from this daycare. Even now, he still talks about his teachers with so much love and affection. They didn’t just teach him—they reached him. And for that, we will forever be grateful. If you're looking for a daycare where your child will be treated with the same love, care, and respect as if they were the teachers’ own, Leading by Example is where you want to be. I cannot recommend them enough.
