Smarty Pants Full Day Preschool

My 2 y/o grandchild attended this daycare for over a year now. Initially, things seemed to be going pretty good, however, my grandbaby has sustained two black eyes in less than a year. The first time it happened, our daughter and son-in-law gave grace as they understand children can be clumsy sometimes. The second time is questionable as staff stated our grandchild ran into a bookshelf. I’m just not sure if they have book shelves that short that can create the perfect black eye. It appeared as if she was hit in the eye. Our daughter nor son-in-law were notified of the incident. They found out when picking up our grand-baby. These are facts and we have pics. This review isn’t to demise the company, however, it is to raise awareness to the staff to keep a better eye on the children.

Our child has been at Smarty Pants since he was 10 months old. He had a very rough transition but the staff was patient and reassuring to us throughout it all. He’s now loving school and we are happy with the care and love he gets here. He is at the smaller 10th street location which we love, but our friends at 7th street also rave about their experience.

We have been a part of the Smarty Pants family - or should I say they have been a HUGE part of our family! - for 4 years now. We started at the 10th Street location when my now 4 year old was an infant, and it was immediate feeling of comfort and love. After spending 3 years there, we moved over to the 7th Street location since it offers a Meck PreK program (score!). I now have two children there and couldn't be happier. There has never been a day that my children didn't WANT to go to school - win! - and that they come home excited about what they did each day. Every daycare center offers you what you want to get out of it, but I have found that the family I've made at Smarty Pants is a real treat. From befriending other parents, to truly becoming close with all of the teachers, I wouldn't change our experience for the world!

My daughter loves all the teachers she has had since she started there and has learned so much compared to where she was before. There is a great family atmosphere and I can always trust she is being cared for and taken care. The director is very compassionate towards families and is always active in the center. I love the culture and environment for my 3 year old. Ms. Johnson and Ms. Raquel do an amazing job teaching her all the things she needs to know!

My daughter started this preschool 5 weeks ago. She absolutely loves it. We could not be happier with our choice. The teachers and all the staff are amazing, the Director is very involved and the atmosphere is wonderful. Every morning my 18 month old is welcomed with kisses and cuddles, and she could not be happier. The curriculum is excellent, as is the schedule and the routines have really brought my daughter on. I visited lots of daycare options and this was head and shoulders above the rest - I could not recommend highly enough!
