Great staff who truly care about your child like their own. They have become like family and it makes going to work each day easier knowing your child is going to be well looked after and cared for. If anything has ever arose with my child whether it be illness or a minor bump/incident they are prompt to notify us. The facility is well kept with a nice layout. I would recommend for anyone looking for care for their little ones.
We absolutely love Smart Start! The entire staff is very friendly and caring towards my son and the other kids. The director, Barbara, has gotten to know our family and has bent over backward to accommodate our changing schedule. I was very nervous to leave my baby when I started back at work and the transition was seamless with Smart Start. I suggest taking a tour for yourself - you will get to witness a great team hard at work to create a fun environment for kids!
As I was picking my granddaughter up, I saw a tall, plus size woman pushing small children by their heads to the fence as she was yelling. One little girl, wasn’t moving fast enough so she pushed her hard by the head to the fence causing this child to stumble. I yelled and asked my grandchild if she was ok so the lady sent her out to me. On another occasion the same lady was dressed in either dirty or dingy pj’s. Although the owner made a post about her employees are told to were comfortable clothes with a scrub shirt with the staffs names, it is unprofessional. Also I never seen “the scrub shirt with names that takes a while for the order to be filled” to be worn by the staff. Shame on the owner for standing by her employees that are mistreating these children. Don’t be surprised if this place isn’t on the news someday.
I took my 3 year old here. It was horrible. Almost everyday I would pick my son up there where teachers or assistants were yelling at the children. I seen one of the assistants grab a child by there arm and drag him through the hallway. Literally dragging this kid. He wasn't even on his feet. These are preschool students they are doing this to. My son came home one day and told me a teacher hit him. When I asked her about it she said she just pushed him. He would come home with horror stories and bruises. The food they feed the kids is terrible!! If you love your children do not take them here.
My son loves his teachers here. Everyone is very friendly and supportive. It is obvious they care about the kids
