Small World Learning Center

If you are looking for outstanding quality of care from experienced teachers within a reasonably priced daycare/ learning center, Look no further. I typically don’t write reviews on places where I receive ongoing services. But Small World Learning center deserves an exception as they exceeded our expectations in every category. Previously we changed 3 daycares within 1.5 years due to many many issues. Every school will have problems, what differentiates one school from the other is how soon those issues are being addressed. Thanks to the experience management here at small world. Here here are some key features we really like Parents access to child’s daily activity through an intuitive app, where you can see pictures videos the meal times. Etc In-house cooked meal Well organized learning curriculum Experienced and well capable teachers Child’s regular evaluation and parent teacher meetings Decent parking Convenient location Various activities during summer for kids to enjoy the other times. This includes weekly, bounce house, soccer, Disney, dance, party, water day, movie day, ice cream truck, magic show, bike day, wildlife show. I would also like to address some areas of opportunities >> outdoor playground can use a makeover >> Limited hours of operation (although this doesn’t affect us, but I can imagine this can be an inconvenience for some parents. However, we also appreciate that the staff and teachers get to enjoy the summer days. >> unlike the big-name daycare’s, they do not have the luxury to operate within a shiny facility. We have seen measurable improvement in our child’s behavior and other skills. This wouldn’t be possible without their genuine effort.

Our son has been attending SWLC since March 2024. We love it! The infant room teachers are so wonderful. We feel so at peace knowing he is in the best care when we drop him off every morning.

I toured many childcare options in Eagan before choosing Small World. I chose this center for the experienced staff, great location, and the overall learning environment. The staff have been very friendly, and I greatly appreciate the communication they send throughout the day via an app (including photos!). I feel at ease sending my child to small world, and appreciate the care Ms. Brittney, Ms. Taylor, and Ms. Anniegail give to my child.

If you are in need of daycare, I highly recommend touring Small World Learning Center! I had a lot of anxiety with the thought of maternity leave ending and having to find care for my child. My husband and I toured a few places that did not reassure our decision to do daycare, but once we toured Small World, we knew instantly this was the place for our child! A big part of that was because of Rebecca. She did our tour and was so informative and it was very clear her passion for the industry and for every child who attends Small World. She goes out of her way to get to know each family and is so friendly! The first day of drop off was hard - as it is for any parent with the anxiety of wondering how my child would adjust and if we picked the right place. The staff are SO friendly, supportive, and communicative that it has made the transition out of maternity leave a breeze. Our child adjusted well the first week and a big part of that has to do with how genuine the staff are with caring for the kids. Staff communicate as they can through an app that puts us at ease of how our child is doing throughout the day. Our child’s big smiles continue to be a testament on how amazing the staff are at Small World. So far, we could not be more happy and at ease with our choice of care here! Shoutout to Brittany, Allison, and Taylor for their hard work day-to-day and for making it a fun place for our child to learn and grow!

Our family has had a wonderful experience at Small World. The staff has great communication, the teachers keep us updated on his progress and daily activities. My son really seems to love all of his teachers. The center is clean, organized, and filled with fun, engaging activities that encourage learning and creativity. We’ve noticed so much growth in our son’s social and developmental skills since he started here. We are sending our daughter here as well in a few months in the infant room and we are so excited.
