My 3 children have gone here, and we've had a great experience! My little boy has friends he loves to play with, and feels very connected to his teachers. He looks forward to going here every day. He has learned a lot, and the teachers plan their days to support kindergarten readiness. Our family has had a fabulous experience with New Horizon and we whole heartedly recommend them!
I just want to give a huge thank-you to my girls’ amazing teachers — especially Ashley, Tufa, and Sara. My girls love coming here every day and truly enjoy having a routine. It’s such a comfort knowing they’re so well cared for by such a kind and dedicated staff. Even five years later, my Izzy still loves to greet and hug her infant teacher, Joely, every chance she gets — that says so much about the lasting impact you’ve had on her heart. Thank you all for the love, patience, and care you show every single day. We’re so grateful for everything you do!
My son started earlier in the Spring and we have had nothing but a great experience! Ms. Sara & Ms. Brie in the office have been so kind and helpful throughout our journey. They are the sweetest! We’re so appreciative of Mr. Sam and Ms. Sarah as they make my son feel so loved and cared for, they help with homework, do fun activities..I could go on and on. 10/10
I am extremely disappointed with the directors at New Horizon. Their handling of a recent situation involving my son was completely unprofessional. They insisted he was hitting teachers and students, but when i spoke to his teachers they just said he had a bad day but nothing too serious. My child comes home with bruises sometimes, i do not receive any incident reports, however anytime he defends himself, I receive a personal phone call "stating that he hit someone". I countless talks with my son and i feel as though he is not being heard. The directors also falsely claimed he hit a child in front of his father during drop-off. I had spoken with his father and he said no such thing happened. The situation escalated when the directors stated my son needed to be removed because they “could not afford to lose a teacher,” and announced this in the hallway in front of other parents—demonstrating a total lack of privacy, respect, and professionalism. Afterwards, they told me they were “understaffed” and needed to get on the bus, which was extremely rude. Treating me differently is unacceptable; I am a parent and deserve respect. The apology that I had received from the head of director was even unprofessional, stating that, "the director's was having a bad day and had a lot on her mind." I understand that we are all humans but respect is given at all times especially to parents that are trusting you to care for their little ones. This experience was mishandled and disrespectful. I expected better communication, honesty, and professionalism. Based on my experience
Our daughter loves her days at New Horizon Academy. She feels safe, has made great friends and wonderful connections with her teachers. We will miss all of the teachers and staff as she moves to kindergarten next year.
