What Parents Say
Sissy's Playhouse is highly rated as an event rental space rather than a daycare facility. Reviews consistently praise the clean, spacious venue with friendly staff and reasonable pricing for private events, baby showers, and meetings.
I was skeptical at first but my mom’s Celebration of Life “after party” turned out so well. The tables were set up for us with linens that matched the event theme (Mardi Gras). There was kitchen space with several outlets and it was clean. We hired the Shreveport Second Line Brass Band who had plenty of space to set up. There was enough space for us to do a few second lines around the room. The only draw back is the one bathroom. Other than that this place was worth every penny. I highly recommend to anyone needing an event space.
I participated in a pop up for local entrepreneurs at this location. Plenty of parking in front, the area I was in could accommodate a medium size group comfortably. Maybe a 50 to 75 people.
We use this space for our union meetings. It's clean, just the right size and the owner is very accommodating. We were lucky to find it. The parking lot can handle maybe 20 cars, but one can park next door.
They were NOT friendly. The lady started slamming chairs as she was putting them up as if we did something wrong. We were in and out when we were supposed to be and we cleaned up as we were supposed to. I don't understand what the attitude was for. No one was rude to her in any kind of way. We will not be back to this place. There was no reason for us to experience such rudeness.
Thank you so much for the hospitality. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere very warm. I will definitely be using them again!!
