I am a woman with autism and I remember a day when I was crying in pain because I was being picked on by the staff at a middle school I was attending, and the middle school principal said I was acting out. They had the SRO handcuff me and take me here, he said that if I keep acting up and if I tell my mother about this I will suffer here. I wasn't actually locked up it was a threat but it was one of the scariest days of my life. 💔💔💔😭😭😭I hate it. The kids here are already going through some terrible stuff and they're traumatized even further by suffering here.

My daughter was sent there and within the first 24 hours had somehow managed to get out of the gate and run away. I wasn't told about it until around 2 hours later. When I asked how this happened, the only explanation I got was everyone blaming someone else.

Its solitary confinement. It's not just for any kid. Be careful when making the decision to send your child to this place. They won't help kids. They treat the child like a criminal they dont offer them help with homework, or any questions they have. The workers are slum and that's how they run the facility. It's dangerous, juveniles will start fights with others for no reason. It's sad there. This is the truth. These teen need better authority, some one to be understanding and helpful.

I was sent here after taking the blame for my friend breaking a tree branch about 20 years ago. 0/10 would not recommend. Still better than a La Quinta though.
